Quickstart

1. Craft a Trouble Taco using beetroot, cooked beef, and bread:
2. Eat it. Nothing bad happens... at first.
3. Keep eating tacos. On your 3rd taco, things go horribly, gassily wrong.
4. Collect the Compost Pile that gets dumped into your inventory, and toss it in a furnace as fuel.

Overview

Taco Trouble adds one cursed food item and a very predictable digestive system to track it. Tacos are tasty and filling — until your body decides it's had enough. Once you cross that line, every taco you eat becomes a guaranteed emergency, complete with nausea, sound effects, and a fresh pile of compost as a "reward."

What It Adds

How To Use

• Eat Trouble Tacos like any other food. They restore hunger and can always be eaten, even on a full belly.
• The game secretly counts how many tacos you've personally eaten.
• Below the trouble threshold, an action bar message tracks your progress ("feeling fine... for now").
• Once you hit your 3rd taco, that comfort ends: you'll get a burp, a wave of nausea, an on-screen warning, and a Compost Pile added straight to your inventory.
• After that point, every single taco you eat triggers the same emergency — there's no going back to "feeling fine."

Abilities And Mechanics

• Taco counter: Your taco-eating history is tracked per player and persists across sessions.
• Trouble threshold: The 3rd taco you eat (ever) flips the switch — from then on, tacos always cause trouble.
• Emergency effects: Nausea (8 seconds), a burp sound, a chat warning, and a Compost Pile delivered to your inventory.
• Compost Pile as fuel: Use it in a furnace, smoker, or blast furnace to smelt or cook items — waste not, want not.

Progression And Strategy

Eating a couple of Trouble Tacos early on is safe and simply a decent food source. Treat your 3rd taco as a point of no return: once triggered, you'll never eat a "clean" taco again, so consider stockpiling Compost Piles intentionally as a renewable fuel source by continuing to eat tacos on purpose once you've passed the threshold.
