    Description:

    Synthetic Factions is a full server-side economy, kits and events suite: players have persistent cash balances (/cash or /bal), can /pay and use admin cash controls, access a 54-slot /sell GUI, buy and sell via an auction house (/ah) with buyer/seller notifications and payouts, visit the Synthetic Shop (/shop), and use revamped /kits with confirm-buy GUIs and sound, plus admin tools (/admin), a jail system (/cops), timed boss events like King Cluck, and Treasure Hunt chests that auto-claim on interaction with admin confirmation. Diplomacy and factions include request-based War and Alliance GUIs with live relationship-colored name tags, faction friendly-fire protection, a Join Requests system with a 30s/player cooldown managed from IN FACTION → Join Requests, rank-based faction menus that only show actions your rank can perform, and Officers/Leaders can click members in the View Members GUI to manage ranks. New for admins: use /view <playername> to open a 54-slot server-side inventory editor that mirrors the target’s inventory, armor and offhand so authorized admins can inspect, add, or remove items and save changes by closing the menu or pressing Save & Close, with access restricted to admins/owners.

    Synthetic Factions

    Quickstart

    1. Check your balance with /cash or /bal.
    2. Open the shop with /shop to spend your cash, or /sell to open the 54-slot sell GUI.
    3. Browse the auction house with /ah — list items for sale or buy from other players.
    4. Claim a kit with /kits — browse available kits, confirm your purchase in the GUI, and hear a sound on success.
    5. Create a faction via the factions menu — type your faction name in chat when prompted, then invite allies and declare war or alliances through the diplomacy GUIs.

    Overview

    Synthetic Factions is a full-featured server-side suite covering economy, shops, kits, auctions, faction diplomacy, timed boss events, and admin tooling. Everything is GUI-driven and persists across sessions. It is designed for multiplayer SMP servers where players form factions, trade, and compete in events.


    What It Adds

    Economy

    • Persistent cash balances stored per player and visible with /cash or /bal.
    • Player-to-player payments via /pay <player> <amount>.
    • 54-slot Sell GUI opened with /sell — drag items in to sell them for cash.
    • Auction House (/ah) — list items at a price, browse all active listings, or manage your own. Buyers and sellers receive notifications and payouts automatically, even if offline at the time.
    • Synthetic Shop (/shop) — a curated shop for spending cash.

    Kits

    • /kits opens a GUI listing all available kits with confirm-buy dialogs and sound feedback on purchase.

    Factions & Diplomacy

    • Create, join, and manage factions entirely through in-game GUIs.
    • Join Requests — players can request to join a faction; requests are managed from the IN FACTION → Join Requests screen, with a 30-second per-player cooldown.
    • Rank-based menus — the faction menu only shows options your rank is permitted to use. Officers and Leaders can click members in the View Members GUI to promote, demote, or remove them.
    • War & Alliance — send and receive War or Alliance proposals through request-based GUIs. Active relationships are shown as colour-coded name tags above players' heads.
    • Friendly-fire protection — faction members cannot damage each other.

    Events

    Admins access the event launcher with /events. A running event can be cancelled with /eventcancel.

    Admin Tools

    • /admin — opens the Admin Panel GUI for managing player ranks (Member, VIP, Moderator, Admin, Owner).
    • /cops — opens the jail system GUI. Admins select a player, set a duration (5 min, 10 min, 30 min, 60 min, or indefinite), and jail them. Jailed players are teleported into a temporary cell guarded by NPC cops and set to Adventure mode. Use Unjail to release them early.
    • /view <playername> — opens a 54-slot inventory editor mirroring the target player's inventory, armour, and offhand. Admins can add or remove items freely and save by closing the menu or pressing Save & Close. Restricted to Admin and Owner ranks.
    • /cash give|take|set <player> <amount> — admin cash management sub-commands.

    How To Use

    Economy Day-to-Day

    • Run /bal to see your current cash.
    • Run /sell and place items into the 54-slot GUI to convert them to cash instantly.
    • Run /pay <player> <amount> to send cash to another player. Both players receive a confirmation message.
    • Run /ah → Create Listing to put an item on the auction house. Place the item in the slot, set your price, and confirm. Run /ah → My Listings to cancel or edit listings. Run /ah → View Listings to browse and buy.

    Factions

    1. Open the factions menu (via the server's designated access method or command).
    2. Choose Create Faction and type a name in chat. Type cancel at any time to abort.
    3. Once inside a faction, use IN FACTION menus to invite players (type their name in chat), manage ranks, view members, and set a description.
    4. To request an alliance or declare war, use the Diplomacy section — the other faction's officers/leaders will see the request in their GUI and accept or decline.
    5. Allies show colour-coded name tags; enemies do too. Friendly-fire is blocked between faction members.

    Events (Admin)

    • Type /events to open the event launcher.
    • Select the event type, configure rewards or settings in the GUI, and launch.
    • Players are notified server-wide. For Battle Royale, players opt in with /enter.
    • Treasure Hunt chests are auto-claimed when a player interacts with the chest, pending your confirmation.

    Jail System (Admin)

    • Type /cops to open the player list.
    • Click a player → select Jail Player for the default 5-minute sentence, or click Set Jail Time to choose a duration.
    • The target is immediately teleported to a cell. Click Unjail Player to release them at any time.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Name Tag Diplomacy Display

    Player name tags update in real time based on faction relationships. Allies, enemies (at war), and faction members each have distinct colours so you can identify friend from foe at a glance.

    Auction House Payouts

    When an auction listing sells, the seller receives cash automatically. If the seller is offline, the payout is queued and delivered as a notification the next time they join the server. The same applies to buyers receiving purchase confirmations.

    Rank Hierarchy

    Ranks from lowest to highest: Member → VIP → Moderator → Admin → Owner. The Owner rank is permanently protected — it cannot be banned, kicked, deopped, or demoted by anyone below Owner. Faction menus filter options based on your rank, so players only see actions they are authorised to perform.

    Join Request Cooldown

    Each player has a 30-second cooldown between join requests to prevent spam. Faction officers and leaders review pending requests from IN FACTION → Join Requests.


    Progression And Strategy

    • New players should claim their starter kit, check /shop for useful items, and look for an open faction to join via the faction browser.
    • Faction leaders benefit from recruiting officers early — officers can handle join requests and member management, freeing the leader to focus on diplomacy and events.
    • Economy loop: participate in events like King Cluck for cash rewards, sell farm goods via /sell, flip items on /ah, and reinvest in kits or shop items.
    • War and alliances are best declared with a numerical advantage. Check live relationship colours before engaging in PvP — hitting an ally is blocked, but enemies are always fair game.
    • Admins can use /view to audit suspicious inventories without interrupting gameplay, and /cops to handle rule-breaking swiftly without permanent bans.
