Quickstart

1. Find a Deep Dark Portal. Awaken an unlit frame by playing five different notes nearby, then enter the Swift.
2. Explore the meadows and canyons, but steer clear of Ichor Pools: ichor burns.
3. Try befriending a Blub by interacting with it while holding a Chimebell.
4. Look for Swifttite Ore. Process Raw Swifttite into ingots and use the crafting recipe book to make Swifttite armor.
5. For another early experiment, assemble an Echo Golem from a Soul Block and an Echo Totem. Music can wake a dormant golem.

Overview

The Swift is a dimension of colorful landscapes, unusual creatures, and music-linked interactions. Explore its biomes, gather Swifttite and building materials, and learn how the changing tides affect the world.

Beds do not let you sleep in the Swift; it hums too brightly.

What It Adds

• Biomes: Singer’s Meadow, Wild Meadows, Ichor Pools, Sifter Canyon, Lullaby Hills, Humbler Huskland, and Ravines.
• Materials and building blocks: Swifttite Ore, Swiftstone, Tidestone, Blush Sand, White Willow wood, and varied decorative blocks and plants.
• Creatures: Blubs, Singers, Swiftlings (also called Sifters), Echo Golems, and many others.
• Major challenges: the Harmonizer, Monarch, and Twisted Warden.
• Music and sound: Chimebells, a Singer’s lullaby record, and several interactions tied to playing or hearing music.

How To Use

Enter the Swift

Use a Deep Dark Portal to travel to the dimension. To activate an unlit portal frame, play five distinct notes nearby.

Meet its inhabitants

• Blub: Hold a Chimebell and interact with a Blub to tame it.
• Singer: Listen for a Singer’s song; a Singer may give you a gift.
• Echo Golem: Build one with a Soul Block and Echo Totem. Play music near a dormant golem to wake it. Golems rest until the Thrive tide.
• Ichor: Avoid bathing in it. A diamond spear dropped into ichor becomes a Spectral Spear, but ichor is dangerous.

Crafting And Obtaining

Mine Swifttite Ore and process Raw Swifttite into Swifttite Ingots. The armor set includes a helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots; check the recipe book for each piece.

Swiftstone, Tidestone, Blush Sandstone, and White Willow provide materials for construction and decoration. The recipe book includes blocks and building variants such as bricks, polished stone, stairs, slabs, and walls. You can also smelt Blush Sand into glass.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Swift has three named tides:

Pollinator goo can dissolve you, and ichor burns. Take care around both while exploring.

Progression And Strategy

Explore the different biomes for materials and encounters, then try the music-related interactions: awaken a golem, tame a Blub, and see whether a Singer offers a gift. Keep drained Soul Blocks for the Thrive tide, and prepare carefully before facing the Harmonizer, Monarch, or Twisted Warden.
