Tidal Gravity Keyblade

Quickstart

The crafting recipe is granted when you join. Use a crafting table to make the Keyblade:

Hold it and right-click to send out a wave. Sneak and right-click to create a gravity well centered on your position. Try the wave first to pull nearby living targets toward you, then use the well to levitate and gather foes.

Overview

The Tidal Gravity Keyblade is a durable sword with two abilities: a returning wave and a gravity well. Its attacks also slow the target.

What It Adds

• Tidal Gravity Keyblade: A single, enchanted-glinting sword with 2031 durability.
• Tidal wave: A ring expands outward, then returns and pulls living targets toward you.
• Gravity well: A levitation circle suspends nearby non-teammate living targets while the well draws them toward its core.

How To Use

Use the Keyblade in either hand:

The Keyblade cannot activate either ability while its item cooldown is active. A direct sword hit inflicts Slowness II for 5 seconds.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked for players when they join. Craft the Keyblade at a crafting table with the pattern shown in the recipe:

In Creative mode, you can also find it in the Combat inventory tab.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Tidal wave: Takes about 2 seconds to complete its outward-and-return sweep. On the return, it pulls living targets within roughly 10 blocks toward the player.
• Gravity well: Forms after a brief 25-tick delay and remains active for 160 ticks. Its levitation circle reaches 5 blocks from its center. The well pulls nearby non-teammate living targets toward its core and deals magic damage to targets gathered close to the core.

Progression And Strategy

Use the wave to draw targets in from around you, then follow up with sword hits to slow them. For groups, activate the gravity well where you want to gather foes; its position is set when you use it, so place it near the fight.
