Stormbreaker Wand

Quickstart

1. Obtain the wand from the Combat Creative inventory, or use: /give @s stormbreaker-wand-zdxyk3vq:stormbreaker_wand_zdxyk3vq
2. For survival crafting, gather a diamond, two netherite ingots, a lightning rod, and a blaze rod. Craft the wand with:

1. Place the wand in your hotbar and hold it.
2. Aim at a wall, tunnel, or target area and use the wand. It fires a lightning beam up to 96 blocks, carving a broad path through blocks and striking the endpoint.
3. Wait for the cooldown before firing again. The wand has 128 durability and cannot be stacked.

Overview

The Stormbreaker Wand is a powerful ranged tool for clearing terrain and calling down lightning. Its beam pierces through walls instead of stopping at the first block, destroying blocks along its path in a broad tunnel.

• Stormbreaker Wand — a single-use-at-a-time weapon with:
  • A maximum beam range of 96 blocks
  • A broad wall-breaking beam
  • Lightning along the beam’s path
  • A charged lightning strike at the impact point
  • 128 durability

How To Use

Hold the Stormbreaker Wand and use it while aiming in the desired direction.

The wand follows your view:

• Aim at a nearby block to fire toward that block.
• Aim through an opening or into open space to fire up to the wand’s maximum range.
• The beam continues through walls and destroys blocks throughout its path.
• Blocks destroyed by the beam can drop their usual items.
• The final lightning strike lands at the beam’s endpoint.

Each use consumes 1 durability. The wand has a 30-tick cooldown—about 1.5 seconds—between uses.

Abilities And Mechanics

Wall-Breaking Beam

The beam removes blocks along its entire path rather than only breaking the first block it reaches. It clears a broad area approximately five blocks across, making it useful for:

• Cutting tunnels through mountains
• Opening passages through structures
• Clearing large sections of underground terrain
• Breaking through defensive walls

Be careful around builds, valuable blocks, and terrain you want to preserve.

Lightning Trail

Visible lightning bolts appear at intervals along the beam. These bolts create the wand’s storm effect while the beam travels through the world.

Impact Strike

A final, fully charged lightning strike appears at the beam’s endpoint. Keep targets, mobs, and flammable builds in mind when using the wand near them.

Cooldown Toggle

Use the command below to toggle the Stormbreaker Wand’s cooldown for yourself:

/nocloudown

The command switches between cooldown disabled and cooldown enabled and displays the current state in chat. Durability is still consumed when the wand fires.

Crafting And Obtaining

The wand is available directly in the Combat Creative inventory.

To craft it, combine:

• 1 diamond
• 2 netherite ingots
• 1 lightning rod
• 1 blaze rod

Progression And Strategy

The Stormbreaker Wand requires late-game materials, but its main strength is utility rather than conventional combat. Use it to create large tunnels quickly, clear a line through difficult terrain, or expose areas hidden behind thick walls.

Because the beam has a wide path and the endpoint produces real lightning, test your aim before firing near important structures. Carry a spare wand or plan your uses around its 128 durability.
