Shinigami Fatebook
Quickstart
Craft a Shinigami Fatebook using the recipe below, then hold it and right-click to open its menu. Choose a nearby hostile mob, then select one of the three fates to seal its verdict.
Overview
The Fatebook lets you select and defeat nearby hostile mobs. It opens a target-and-fate menu when used and summons an invulnerable Shinigami spirit nearby if one is not already there.
What It Adds
- Shinigami Fatebook: A single-use-at-a-time item (it does not stack) for selecting a target and fate.
- Shinigami spirit: An allay named Shinigami appears beside you when you use the book, if one is not already nearby. Its name is hidden.
How To Use
- Use the book while holding it in either hand.
- Select one of the listed hostile mobs. The menu shows up to three nearby visible targets, closest first.
- Choose Shadow Burst, Crimson Sigil, or Quiet Vanish. You can use Back to return to the target list or Close to exit.
The target must still be alive, within 12 blocks, and visible to you when you choose a fate. The book affects hostile mobs only; players are protected.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft the Fatebook in a crafting table:
The recipe uses one ink sac, one book, two echo shards, and one wither rose.
Abilities And Mechanics
All three fates defeat the selected mob and produce its normal death and drops. Their names describe different visual effects:
- Shadow Burst: Soul particles
- Crimson Sigil: Flame particles
- Quiet Vanish: Smoke particles
Progression And Strategy
The Fatebook has no progression requirements. For a successful verdict, choose a mob you can see and stay within 12 blocks until you select its fate.
How to install
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
1. Download and install the new CreativeMode Launcher
2. Click to play on the top of the screen.
3. That's it — launches instantly. No complicated setup required.
