Description:

Echoes of the Fracture drops you into a living, fractured dreamscape that wakes up the longer you explore it. Reality tears apart at the seams — gravity inverts, structures duplicate, and surreal pocket dimensions open without warning. Your sanity is a resource as real as your health, and the world itself permanently evolves based on every choice you make, from the mobs you kill to the bosses you defeat. No two worlds end the same way.
A dimension-like overworld biome of floating islands, purple skies, and impossible geometry. It grows more unstable the deeper and longer you explore.

Spending time in darkness, heavy fog, or deep within Reality Fractures drains your sanity. As it falls you experience visual distortions, phantom sounds, invisible enemies, and UI corruption.
Stabilize sanity by:
Keep at least one Stabilizing Potion in your hotbar when exploring deep fractures.
Visible tears in the world that appear randomly across the biome. Walking into or near one can:
| Mini-Realm | Description |
|---|---|
| The Silent Below | Underground void-like pocket; hostile and claustrophobic |
| Mirror Sky | High-altitude zone; Slow Falling is applied on entry |
| The Endless Stair | Looping impossible architecture |
Carry a Teleportation Relic to escape these realms quickly.
Right-click the Lucid Crafting Station to open its interface. Unlike a standard crafting table, it uses Echoes, Memory Fragments, and Corrupted Crystal Shards (plus Dream Shards) to produce:
Two random world events can trigger at any time in the biome:
The Silence — All sounds cut out for ~30 seconds. Rare mobs then spawn, the sky darkens, and whispers play behind your character. Stay alert and don't stand still.
False Sunrise — A fake sun appears at midnight. During this window hostile mobs turn passive, hidden ruins reveal themselves above ground, and secret merchants appear. Explore aggressively while it lasts.
| Mob | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Glowhorn | Gentle bovine creature; emits glow particles |
| Sky Manta | Flying; patrols the upper islands |
| Mob | Threat | Notable Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Root Crawler | Medium | Fast spider-type |
| Watcher | Medium | Enderman-type; watches silently before attacking |
| The Hollow | Medium | Inflicts Darkness on hit; spawned by Dream Eaters and the Sleepless King |
| Gravity Wraith | High | Periodically places Gravity Sand blocks nearby; drops Dream Shards |
| Dream Eater | Very High | 180 HP; inflicts Darkness and Nausea; spawns Hollow clones on hit; drops Dream Shards and a Reality Compass |
| Mimic | High | Copies your name and turns briefly invisible; causes Nausea; drops Memory Fragments |
| Choir Wisp | Situational | Floating spirit; its song inflicts Nausea, reveals hidden paths (Echo Glass under your feet), and can fling you into Mirror Sky; drops Echoes |
A colossal cosmic knight found at the center of Forgotten Cathedrals. He has 360 HP and three distinct phases:
| Phase | Health Range | Abilities |
|---|---|---|
| 1 — Sword Combat | Above 66% | Melee strikes; Levitation on hit; Darkness on hit |
| 2 — Gravity Manipulation | 33–66% | Area Levitation pulses every ~5 seconds to all nearby entities |
| 3 — Dream Illusion Arena | Below 33% | Portal particle storms; Darkness pulses; spawns Hollow illusions; biome-wide eclipse |
On death: The terrain in a large radius permanently transforms — Aetherstone and Whisper Leaves spread across the ground, and new dreamland islands begin forming. All nearby players receive the message: "The Sleepless King falls. The eclipse breaks and new islands begin to dream nearby."
Drops: 8× Corrupted Crystal Shards and 16× Dream Shards.
Massive floating temples with puzzle rooms, moving hallways, cursed loot chests, and hidden lore tablets. The Sleepless King waits at the center.
Enormous islands suspended by chains that vanish into the sky above. Inside are anti-gravity chambers, ancient machinery, floating libraries, and Lucid Crafting Stations you can use before you build your own.
A living underground structure beneath the biome with shifting geometry and impossible rooms. It holds the final lore of the Dreamlands and reality-breaking enemies. Reaching its heart triggers the endgame choice (see Progression below).
All six craftable items use a standard crafting table unless otherwise noted.
Dream Shard (2) — Combine an Amethyst Shard with an Echo Shard:
Dream Lantern — Echo Glass surrounding a Dream Shard (plus-shape):
Reality Compass — Same layout as Dream Lantern but with a Dream Shard center:
Sleep Altar — Echo Glass + Dream Shard top row, Aetherstone base, Respawn Anchor center:
Lucid Crafting Station — Corrupted Crystal and Echo Glass alternating around a Sleep Altar:
Stabilizing Potion — Shapeless: Glass Bottle + Dream Shard + Void Moss:
| Material | How to Get |
|---|---|
| Echo Glass | Mine in the biome (pickaxe) |
| Aetherstone | Mine in the biome (pickaxe) |
| Void Moss | Shovel from biome floor |
| Corrupted Crystal (block) | Mine in fracture zones (pickaxe) |
| Corrupted Crystal Shard | Kill the Sleepless King (×8) |
| Echo | Kill Choir Wisps |
| Memory Fragment | Kill Mimics |
| Dream Shard | Craft; also drops from Gravity Wraiths, The Hollow, Dream Eater |
| Reality Compass | Craft or kill a Dream Eater |
Early game: Gather Dream Shards and craft a Dream Lantern before nightfall. Place it at your base. Brew a Stabilizing Potion as soon as you find Void Moss. Avoid Reality Fractures until you have armor.
Mid game: Build the Sleep Altar and Lucid Crafting Station. Farm Choir Wisps for Echoes and Mimics for Memory Fragments. Explore Chain Sanctuaries for early access to a Lucid Station and anti-gravity chambers. Craft a Gravity Spindle and Teleportation Relic — both are essential for navigating floating islands and escaping mini-realms.
Late game: Locate a Forgotten Cathedral and fight the Sleepless King. Bring multiple Stabilizing Potions — Phase 3 applies Darkness repeatedly. The Corrupted Crystal Shards he drops unlock the strongest Lucid crafting recipes. After defeating him, the biome reshapes around his death site.
Endgame: Descend into the Dreamcore. The final choice permanently alters your world:
