Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, find the Tree Sentinel Spawn Egg in the Spawn Eggs tab and use it in a wide, open area. The Sentinel stands nearly four blocks tall and can charge.
2. For a command summon, use /summon sentinela-da-arvore-3g7cry4p:tree_sentinel ~ ~ ~. To get its egg with commands, use /give @s sentinela-da-arvore-3g7cry4p:sentinela_da_arvore_3g7cry4p_spawn_egg.
3. Approach to start the fight. Watch its attack wind-ups and move out of its path; obstacles can block its line of sight.

Overview

The Tree Sentinel is a powerful, mounted boss: a golden-armored horseman armed with a halberd and a tree-emblazoned shield. It patrols when unengaged and pursues nearby players it can see. It has 300 health and 10 armor.

When it engages, a health bar appears for nearby players. The Sentinel does not naturally despawn, and it cannot be ridden or controlled.

• A Tree Sentinel Spawn Egg for summoning it.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is no crafting recipe for the spawn egg. Get it from the Creative Spawn Eggs tab or use the /give command above.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Sentinel targets non-Creative, non-spectator players it can see. Its attacks are aimed at players, and nearby players can also be hit.

Damage listed is before player armor and other damage reduction.

At half health, the Sentinel performs a phase transition. In this second phase, it can add the shield bash to its close-range attacks.

Progression And Strategy

• Keep moving during attack wind-ups. Step aside from the halberd’s forward arc and the charge lane; move farther away when it prepares a shield bash.
• Use terrain to break line of sight, but avoid getting trapped in a narrow space. The Sentinel needs a clear path to charge, and open ground gives you room to dodge.
• In multiplayer, spread out: the Sentinel’s attack areas can catch more than one player.
• Expect the shield bash once the Sentinel drops to half health.
