Ruby Vineblade

Quickstart

1. Gather redstone, iron ingots, vines, and a stick, then craft the Ruby Vineblade at a crafting table.
2. Equip it and attack a target. Successful hits deal damage and briefly inflict Poison.
3. Craft a Vinecastle Blueprint from paper, vines, and a stone brick. Hold it and use it to generate a damaged Vinecastle nearby.
4. Find Majic Turtles on warm beaches. You can also use the Majic Turtle Spawn Egg from Creative mode or summon one with /summon com_ruby_vineblade_b2tpgcxk:majic_turtle.
5. Use vines or glow berries on a Majic Turtle to attempt to tame it. Use seagrass to breed adult turtles.
6. Interact with a turtle while holding a vine to give it a short Resistance and Strength boost.

Overview

Ruby Vineblade adds a nature-themed weapon, a structure-generating blueprint, and Majic Turtles that can be tamed, bred, and used as combat companions.

What It Adds

• Ruby Vineblade — A rare sword that poisons targets when it hits them.
• Vinecastle Blueprint — Generates a damaged Vinecastle with stocked chests.
• Majic Turtle — A large aquatic creature that spawns on warm beaches, can be tamed with vines or glow berries, and defends its owner.
• Majic Turtle Spawn Egg — Available for spawning Majic Turtles in Creative mode.

Crafting And Obtaining

Ruby Vineblade

Craft the Ruby Vineblade with 1 redstone, 2 iron ingots, 1 vine, and 1 stick.

You can also obtain it with /give @s com_ruby_vineblade_b2tpgcxk:my_sword 1.

Vinecastle Blueprint

Craft the Vinecastle Blueprint with 5 paper, 3 vines, and 1 stone brick.

You can obtain it with /give @s com_ruby_vineblade_b2tpgcxk:vinecastle_blueprint 1.

How To Use

Ruby Vineblade

Equip the blade and attack normally. Each successful hit applies Poison I to the target for 3 seconds.

The Ruby Vineblade has:

• 5 attack damage
• 250 maximum durability
• Rare item rarity
• Sword-compatible enchanting
• Iron ingot repairs, with a repair value of 50 per ingot

Vinecastle Blueprint

Hold the blueprint and use it. A damaged Vinecastle appears around your position. Its chests are filled shortly afterward.

The castle’s chests contain a mixture of:

• Ruby Vineblades, iron swords, and golden swords
• Vines, with the amount increasing from chest to chest
• Glow berries or bone meal
• Moss blocks

Use the blueprint in an area with enough open space for the structure.

Abilities And Mechanics

Majic Turtle Spawning

Majic Turtles naturally spawn:

• In beach biomes with the warm biome tag
• On surface sand
• At elevations from Y 60 through Y 67
• At brightness levels from 7 through 15
• In groups of 2–6

They can breathe both underwater and on land and have 30 health.

Taming

Use either vines or glow berries on a Majic Turtle to attempt to tame it. Each attempt has a 35% success chance.

A tamed Majic Turtle:

• Follows its owner
• Helps defend its owner when the owner is attacked
• Attacks nearby monsters it can see
• Can travel on land and in water

Turtle Battle Boost

Hold a vine and interact with a Majic Turtle to trigger its nature blessing. The turtle receives:

• Resistance I
• Strength I
• A duration of 10 seconds

Particles and a plant-growth sound indicate that the blessing was triggered.

Breeding And Growth

Feed adult Majic Turtles seagrass to breed them. Taming is not required for breeding.

Baby Majic Turtles grow into adults and can produce a turtle shell piece when they grow up.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the Ruby Vineblade early if you have access to vines, since its Poison effect helps against durable targets.
• Carry iron ingots to keep the blade repaired during long expeditions.
• Search warm beaches for groups of Majic Turtles, then bring vines or glow berries for taming attempts.
• Use seagrass to establish a turtle population near your base.
• Give a tamed turtle a vine before a difficult fight to improve its survivability and melee damage.
• Use the Vinecastle Blueprint after securing a safe building area, then search its stocked chests for additional equipment and nature-themed supplies.
