    Description:

Place and use a redesigned Trader Terminal: a sleek black, sci‑fi vending cabinet with bright cyan display and vents that fits on a single‑block footprint—craft a Terminal Placer from iron, redstone, and an emerald, place the terminal in a two‑block‑high space, then interact (use/tap/right‑click) to open the shop UI and spend emeralds on goods like bread, torches, tools, name tags, or extra Trader Terminals to expand your compact merchant setup. The shop draws from a larger trade pool and shows five deterministic daily offers that rotate each Minecraft day (the menu displays the current daily stock day), and opening is per-player locked with a short reopen cooldown so repeated clicks won't spawn multiple screens. Visuals have been polished to preserve the black sci‑fi cabinet and cyan accents while the top panel now uses a consistent dark charcoal tone instead of shifting colors for a cleaner, stable appearance.

    Trader Terminal

    Quickstart

    1. Open a Crafting Table and craft a Trader Terminal item.
    2. Find a spot with two blocks of vertical clearance and place the terminal — it snaps to face you.
    3. Interact (tap / right-click / use button) on the cabinet to open the shop menu.
    4. Pick one of the five daily offers and make sure you have enough emeralds in your inventory — the cost is deducted automatically and your item is delivered instantly.

    Overview

The Trader Terminal is a sci-fi vending cabinet you craft and place in your world. It stands two blocks tall but occupies only a single-block footprint, making it easy to fit into any base. The sleek black body features a bright cyan display panel and ventilation details. Interact with it at any time to browse today's rotating shop, spend emeralds, and receive goods — no villager required.

    What It Adds

Trader Terminal (item)The placer item held in your inventory and used to place the cabinet

    How To Use

Walk up to any placed Trader Terminal and interact with it. A menu titled "Trader Terminal" opens, showing five offers available for that Minecraft day. The menu header tells you which day's stock you are viewing.

Select an offer to attempt the trade:

    • If you have enough emeralds, they are taken from your inventory and the item is given to you immediately. A success chime plays and a green confirmation message appears in chat.
    • If you are short on emeralds, a red message tells you exactly how many you need, and a bass note plays — no emeralds are consumed.

Close the menu at any time without penalty. A brief cooldown prevents the menu from reopening instantly if you click repeatedly, but you can reopen it normally after a moment.

Each player's menu state is tracked independently, so multiple players can shop at the same terminal simultaneously without interfering with each other.

    Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Trader Terminal at a Crafting Table:

You can also purchase an additional Trader Terminal directly from the shop for 20 emeralds, letting you expand your merchant setup without returning to a crafting table.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Daily Rotating Stock

The terminal draws five offers each Minecraft day from a pool of fourteen possible trades. The selection is determined by the current day number, so all players on the same world see the same five offers on any given day. Offers automatically change when a new Minecraft day begins.

    Name Tag12 Emeralds

Only five of the above are available on any single day.

    Placement

The terminal faces the cardinal direction you were looking when you placed it (north, south, east, or west). It requires two clear blocks of vertical space. Mining it takes about 1.5 seconds.

    Progression And Strategy

    • Early game: The 1-emerald trades (Bread, Torches) are a reliable food and light source before you have a stable farm.
    • Mid game: Watch for Iron tools (Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel) on days when your supply is running low.
    • Late game: Save up for the Name Tag (12 emeralds) or Saddle (15 emeralds) — two notoriously hard-to-craft items — and buy extra Trader Terminals (20 emeralds) to build a multi-terminal trading hub.
    • Planning: Because the five daily offers are the same for every player in the world, you and your teammates can coordinate spending on the same day's stock without duplication.
