Description
The Trader Terminal is a redesigned, sci‑fi one‑block‑tall vending cabinet that fits on a single‑block footprint. To use it, craft a Terminal Placer from iron, redstone, and an emerald, place the terminal in a single‑block space, then interact (use/tap/right‑click) to open the shop UI and spend emeralds on goods. The terminal shows five deterministic daily offers drawn from a larger trade pool, with the UI displaying the current daily stock day, while supporting weighted rare offers so some items are much less likely to appear. The system is per‑player locked with a short reopen cooldown to prevent multiple screens, and you can buy extra Trader Terminals to expand a compact merchant setup. The updated trade pool now includes high‑end vanilla gear like a Diamond pickaxe, Diamond axe, a full Diamond armor set, blocks of redstone, gold, and diamond, and a very small chance to find a Block of Netherite, all presented with polished black-and-cyan visuals and a stable dark charcoal top panel.

Quickstart
- Craft a Trader Terminal at a crafting table:
- Find a spot with two blocks of vertical clearance and place the terminal — it snaps to face you.
- Interact (tap/right-click/use) the cabinet to open the shop UI.
- Pick one of the five daily offers and make sure you have enough emeralds in your inventory — the cost is deducted automatically.
Overview
Trader Terminal adds a sci-fi vending cabinet to your world: a sleek, two-block-tall black-and-cyan kiosk that occupies only a single block of floor space. Instead of hunting for a wandering trader, place a Terminal wherever you need one and spend emeralds on a rotating selection of useful goods — from basic supplies all the way up to diamond gear and rare resource blocks.

How To Use
Placing the Terminal
Select the Trader Terminal item and place it on any solid surface that has an empty block directly above it. The cabinet automatically orients to face the direction you were looking when you placed it.
Opening the Shop
Walk up to either block of the cabinet and interact (tap on mobile, right-click on keyboard/mouse, or use your controller's interact button). The Trader Terminal UI opens showing:
- The current Minecraft day number (so you know when the stock refreshes)
- Five trade buttons, each listing the item name and emerald cost
Tap or click a button to attempt the purchase. If you have enough emeralds, they are taken from your inventory and the item is delivered immediately. A success sound plays on a successful trade; a bass note plays if you cannot afford the offer.
Cooldown
After closing the shop there is a very brief cooldown before you can reopen it. This prevents duplicate screens from appearing.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft the Trader Terminal at any crafting table using iron ingots, redstone dust, and an emerald (see recipe above). Additional terminals can be crafted to build out a compact merchant hall.
Abilities And Mechanics
Daily Stock
Each calendar day in Minecraft, the terminal draws five offers from a large pool of possible trades. The selection is deterministic — every terminal on the server shows the same five offers for that day, and the stock resets with each new Minecraft day.
Weighted Rarity
Most items have an equal chance of appearing in the daily five, but a small number of high-value offers — most notably the Block of Netherite — carry a much lower weight, making them significantly rarer to see on any given day.
Per-Player Lock
Each player gets their own independent UI session. One player opening the shop does not block another player from using the same terminal simultaneously.
Progression And Strategy
Early game — The terminal sells cheap consumables that are useful almost immediately:

Tips:
- Log in each Minecraft day to check whether a high-value offer has appeared — particularly the Block of Netherite.
- Farm villager trades or explore structures to stockpile emeralds before going for diamond gear.
- Place multiple terminals side-by-side for a compact merchant district; each shows the same daily stock, so extra terminals just mean shorter walking distances.
