Reclaiming Kunaiarsuarmi

Quickstart

Craft a Wood Kunai, select it on your hotbar, aim, and use your usual Use Item control to throw it. When it hits an entity or block, it drops as an item for you to collect.

Try the other material types as you gather resources. To try an Explosive Kunai, find it in the Creative inventory’s Combat tab or use /give @s reclaiming-kunaiarsuarmi-x7xj2wja:explosive_kunai.

Overview

The mod adds throwable kunai in six material tiers, plus an explosive variant. Regular kunai are reusable: they are consumed when thrown, then drop at the impact point. Explosive Kunai detonate on impact and also drop there afterward.

What It Adds

Damage values are before any applicable defenses. Explosive Kunai can damage nearby entities, but their blast does not damage the thrower.

How To Use

1. Put a kunai in your hotbar and select it.
2. Aim at a target or surface.
3. Use your Use Item control to throw one.
4. For regular kunai, collect the dropped item where it lands. Explosive Kunai explode when they hit an entity or block, then drop an Explosive Kunai to collect.

Crafting And Obtaining

Each regular kunai uses a stick and one material in a shaped crafting recipe. The recipe shortcodes show the full layouts.

Explosive Kunai has no listed crafting recipe. Find it in the Creative inventory’s Combat tab, or obtain it with /give @s reclaiming-kunaiarsuarmi-x7xj2wja:explosive_kunai.

Abilities And Mechanics

Regular kunai deal damage on a living-entity hit and return as a dropped item when they hit either an entity or a block. Their damage varies by material; gold deals less damage than iron.

Explosive Kunai deal 8 damage points on a direct hit to a living target, then create an explosion on impact. They also explode when they hit a block. The thrower is excluded from the explosion’s damage.
