Description:
Panorama Shuffle replaces the static Minecraft title-screen background with a random panorama chosen from every complete six-image panorama set found across your active resource packs. Each time you visit the Title Screen a panorama is picked and stays locked for that session. A new panorama is quietly prepared whenever you leave a world, so the background feels fresh without jarring mid-session switches.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Random panorama selection | Picks a full six-image set from enabled resource packs each session |
| Vanilla panorama | Always available and listed first in the config screen |
| Shuffle key | Rerolls the panorama instantly while on the Title Screen |
| Fast-Spin key | Speeds up panorama rotation while held |
| Fast Spin Mode | Choose between Keybind (hold to spin fast) or Continuous (always fast) |
| Adjustable spin speed | Configurable in 0.1 increments up to 6.0 |
| Config screen | Toggle individual panorama sets on/off, with automatic pagination |
Press R on the Title Screen at any time to immediately pick a new random panorama from your enabled sets. The selection is drawn only from panorama sets you have enabled in the config screen.
When you leave a world or disconnect from a server, the mod automatically prepares a new panorama so it is ready when you return to the Title Screen.
Two modes control how the panorama spins faster:
Switch between modes in the config screen. Your chosen mode and speed persist between game sessions.
In the config screen, use the − and + buttons next to the spin-speed label to change the speed in steps of 0.1. Click the speed label itself to reset it to the default. The speed range is 0.1 – 6.0.
Panorama Shuffle is a purely client-side visual mod. There are no items, blocks, or crafting recipes. Install it alongside any resource packs that include panorama sets and everything works automatically.
The mod scans all currently enabled resource packs for complete panorama sets — groups of exactly six images named with the standard panorama prefix. Incomplete sets are ignored. The vanilla panorama is always included and always appears first in the list.
Once a panorama is selected for a title-screen session it stays locked. This prevents the background from changing unexpectedly while you are on the menu. A fresh selection happens when you open the Title Screen after leaving a world, or immediately when you press the Shuffle key.
When resource packs are reloaded (e.g. after changing them in Options), the mod pauses panorama substitution during the reload and then refreshes the panorama selection automatically once reloading is complete.
The more resource packs with panorama sets you enable, the larger the pool of possible backgrounds. Any resource pack that ships complete six-image panorama sets will be detected automatically — no extra configuration needed.
Open Mod Menu → Panorama Shuffle to see every detected panorama set. Click any entry to toggle it between Enabled and Disabled. Disabled sets are never chosen during shuffles. Use the Previous / Next buttons to page through large collections. Settings are saved when you close the screen.
Both Shuffle Panorama (default R) and Fast-Spin Panorama (default F) appear in the Panorama Shuffle category of Minecraft's Controls settings and can be rebound to any key you prefer.
