Orewing Skycraft

Quickstart

1. Mine Sky Copper Ore and Aether Quartz Ore with a pickaxe. Smelt the drops into Sky Copper Ingots and Aether Ingots; either a furnace or blast furnace works.
2. Craft a Skywing Aircraft, then use it on a block to place the aircraft and climb aboard.

1. Steer with your usual movement and look controls. While riding, tap Use or Jump to boost; the action bar shows the boost cooldown.
2. For the armor, craft pieces from the recipes below and equip them in the matching armor slots. In Creative, try the character and creature spawn eggs to explore the rest of the mod.

Overview

Orewing Skycraft brings flight-themed armor, a rideable aircraft, and two new ores to Minecraft. It also includes other armor sets, superhero-themed items and characters, and Aether-themed creatures and blocks.

What It Adds

• Ores and materials: Sky Copper Ore, Aether Quartz Ore, Raw Sky Copper, Raw Aether Shards, and their ingots.
• Armor: Skywing, Ironclad Prototype, Crimson Aether, Iron Spider, and Black Panther sets.
• Aircraft: The one-seat Skywing, placed with the Skywing Aircraft item.
• Other content: Reactor beam items, six Stones, superhero equipment and spawn-egg characters, Avengers Tower Blueprint, and Aether-themed content. Characters include Tony Stark, Iron Man, Thanos, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Black Panther, and Ultron. Aether Raiders and Storm Revenants are also present.

How To Use

Fly the Skywing

Use the Skywing Aircraft item on a block to place the aircraft and mount it. The placer is not consumed. Steer using your normal movement and look controls; the aircraft can fly without gravity. Tap Use or Jump to trigger Boost. The action bar displays the boost cooldown.

Try the characters

Use a spawn egg to place its character or creature. When an entity offers an interaction prompt, use the prompt to interact with it.

Crafting And Obtaining

Mine the custom ores wherever you find them. Sky Copper Ore drops Raw Sky Copper; Aether Quartz Ore drops 1–3 Raw Aether Shards. Smelt either raw material in a furnace or blast furnace.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Skywing is a rideable flying vehicle with one seat. Its boost gives it a forward and upward impulse; tapping Use or Jump triggers it, subject to a short cooldown. The armor pieces are wearable in the usual armor slots.

Progression And Strategy

Start by gathering both ores and smelting their drops, then craft the Skywing Aircraft for aerial travel. Use the remaining ingots to work toward the armor sets; other recipes branch into superhero equipment, reactor beams, and the six Stones.
