Nitrodiesel Engineworks
Quickstart
Craft or obtain the core parts: a V10 Nitrodiesel Engine, 15-Gallon Fuel Tank, V10 Engine Controller, and some Fluid Pipes.
Place the engine and tank next to each other, or place one Fluid Pipe between them.
Hold Nitrodiesel and interact with the tank. Each fuel item fills the tank by 1 gallon, up to 15 gallons.
Craft Ethanol-Water-Glycol Coolant, then hold it and interact with the engine. The engine stores up to 10 coolant units.
Hold the V10 Engine Controller and interact with the engine. It transfers one gallon from a nearby tank and opens the engine status panel. Repeat the interaction to transfer more fuel.
The engine runs automatically while it has at least 1 gallon of fuel and 1 unit of coolant. Hold the controller near the engine to see its status, or interact with the engine with an empty hand to display the status bar.
Connect mechanical blocks such as Driveshafts, Gear Boxes, Powered Wheels, Mechanical Pistons, Hydraulic Pumps, and Hydraulic Cylinders to the engine with face-to-face connections. Interact with each block to view its output.
Overview
Nitrodiesel Engineworks adds a fuel-powered V10 engine system with:
Nitrodiesel fuel
Ethanol and Ethanol-Water-Glycol Coolant
A 15-gallon fuel tank
An engine controller and status display
Fluid and power connection pipes
Mechanical transmission blocks
Hydraulic pumps and cylinders
The V10 produces mechanical power, torque, and RPM while running. Connected machine blocks receive the engine's current mechanical state.

How To Use
Filling the Fuel Tank
Hold Nitrodiesel, or another diesel fuel accepted by the engine system, and interact with a 15-Gallon Fuel Tank.
Each interaction consumes one fuel item.
Each fuel item adds 1 gallon.
The tank stops accepting fuel at 15 gallons.
Interacting with the tank without a valid fuel item displays its current fuel amount.
The tank's status appears in the action bar in the form:
15-Gallon Tank | Nitrodiesel current/15 gal
Connecting the Tank to the Engine
The engine can draw fuel from:
A tank directly adjacent to the engine
A tank on the other side of a single Fluid Pipe
Place the tank and pipe so the engine can reach the tank through one face-connected Fluid Pipe. Long-distance pipe chains do not transfer fuel through the controller's tank-transfer interaction.
Adding Coolant
Hold Ethanol-Water-Glycol Coolant and interact directly with the engine.
Each coolant item adds 1 unit.
The engine holds up to 10 units.
Coolant must be added directly to the engine; the fuel tank does not store coolant.
Starting and Monitoring the Engine
The engine starts automatically when both of these conditions are met:
Fuel is greater than 0
Coolant is greater than 0
Hold the V10 Engine Controller and interact with the engine to:
Transfer one gallon from a nearby tank
Open the V10 Engineworks status panel
View fuel, coolant, connection, power, torque, RPM, and hydraulic information
When the controller is held within roughly 8 blocks of an engine, the nearest engine's status is also shown in the action bar.
Using the controller away from an engine displays a reminder to place an engine and fuel tank before using it.

Abilities And Mechanics
Fuel and Coolant Consumption
A running engine consumes its stored resources over time:
Fuel is consumed at approximately 1 gallon every 10 seconds.
Coolant is consumed at approximately 1 unit every 20 seconds.
When either resource reaches 0, the engine becomes OFFLINE.
A stopped engine produces no mechanical or hydraulic output.
A full 15-gallon tank therefore provides approximately 150 seconds of fuel before refilling is required, assuming uninterrupted operation.
Engine Status
The controller's engine panel reports:
Running or offline state
Fuel amount out of 15 gallons
Coolant amount out of 10 units
Connected Fluid Pipes
Connected Power Pipes
Number of coupled machines
Mechanical power in kW
Torque in Nm
RPM
Hydraulic pressure in bar
An empty-hand interaction with the engine displays the same status in the action bar.
Mechanical Networks
Build the mechanical network by placing blocks so their faces touch. The network can contain:
The V10 Nitrodiesel Engine
Driveshafts
Gear Boxes
Powered Wheels
Mechanical Pistons
Hydraulic Pumps
Hydraulic Cylinders
Fluid Pipes and Power Pipes as connection pieces
The engine supplies the base mechanical output. Additional parts change the network's reported values:
Driveshafts increase transmitted power and torque.
Gear Boxes increase power, torque, and RPM.
Powered Wheels reduce available torque and RPM as load, then report wheel output.
Mechanical Pistons report strokes per minute and torque input.
Disconnected blocks do not receive the engine's running state or output.
Interact with a mechanical block to see its individual status.
Hydraulic Operation
To create hydraulic output:
Connect a Hydraulic Pump to the engine's mechanical network.
Give the pump a fluid connection using a Fluid Pipe or a face-connected hydraulic component.
Connect a Hydraulic Cylinder to the same hydraulic arrangement.
Run the engine with fuel and coolant loaded.
A running pump with a hydraulic link generates pressure. Connected cylinders report hydraulic cycles while pressure is available.
Pipes
Fluid Pipes are useful for fluid-side layouts and for positioning a tank near an engine. The engine status panel counts fluid pipes directly touching the engine.
Power Pipes provide power-network connection points. They can be used as connection pieces in larger machine layouts, and the engine panel reports power pipes directly touching the engine.
Pipes and machinery must be face-connected. Diagonal blocks do not form a connection.
Progression And Strategy
Start with Nitrodiesel, Ethanol, and Coolant.
Build a V10 engine, tank, and controller.
Keep a second filled tank nearby so the engine can be refueled without dismantling the setup.
Use Fluid Pipes to organize fuel and hydraulic layouts.
Add Driveshafts for transmission and Gear Boxes for higher power, torque, and RPM.
Add Powered Wheels when you want a measurable wheel-output load.
Add Mechanical Pistons for piston-stroke output.
Build a hydraulic branch with a Hydraulic Pump and Hydraulic Cylinder.
Monitor the controller panel regularly and refill both fuel and coolant before the engine goes offline.
If a connected part shows no output, check that the engine is running and that every block in the network is face-connected.
