Stone Armor

Quickstart

1. Find or craft a stonecutter.
2. Use infested cobblestone in the stonecutter to make the Stonebound armor pieces:
   • Stonebound Helmet
   • Stonebound Chestplate
   • Stonebound Leggings
   • Stonebound Boots
3. Equip all four pieces in the armor slots.
4. Check the action bar. Stonebound Attunement • Complete means the full-set bonuses are active.
5. For extra defense, craft a Stone Cube from stone, then use it with cobblestone to make a Cobblestone Shield.

Overview

Stone Armor adds a rugged four-piece armor set and a matching cobblestone shield. The armor is called the Stonebound set and provides strong protection with simple stone-based repairs.

Wearing the complete set activates Stonebound Attunement, granting:

• Resistance I
• Haste I

The attunement status appears in the action bar as you equip or remove pieces.

What It Adds

The armor pieces are enchantable in their respective armor slots. The shield can be placed in the off-hand and enchanted as a shield.

How To Use

Stonebound armor

Equip the four pieces normally:

• Helmet in the head slot
• Chestplate in the chest slot
• Leggings in the legs slot
• Boots in the feet slot

The action bar displays your current attunement:

• Dormant — no Stonebound pieces equipped
• 1/4 pieces, 2/4 pieces, or 3/4 pieces — the set is incomplete
• Complete — all four pieces are equipped and Resistance I and Haste I are active

The full-set effects are maintained automatically while the complete set is worn.

Cobblestone Shield

Place the shield in your main hand or off-hand. Use the shield's normal block action to defend against incoming damage. Its durability decreases as it absorbs damage.

Crafting And Obtaining

All four armor pieces are made in a stonecutter from infested cobblestone.

Stonebound Helmet

Use infested cobblestone in a stonecutter to create the Stonebound Helmet.

Stonebound Chestplate

Use infested cobblestone in a stonecutter to create the Stonebound Chestplate.

Stonebound Leggings

Use infested cobblestone in a stonecutter to create the Stonebound Leggings.

Stonebound Boots

Use cobblestone in a stonecutter to create the Stonebound Boots.

Stone Cube

The Stone Cube is a component for the shield. Make it from stone in a stonecutter.

Cobblestone Shield

Craft the Cobblestone Shield at a crafting table using cobblestone and a Stone Cube.

Abilities And Mechanics

Stonebound Attunement

The set bonus checks the armor slots and counts only Stonebound armor pieces. When all four required pieces are equipped, the player receives:

• Resistance I for increased protection
• Haste I for faster actions such as mining

The effects do not require a separate activation. Equipping or removing armor updates the attunement status automatically.

Armor repairs

Stonebound Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots can be repaired with stone or cobblestone. Their maximum durability is 300 each.

Shield repairs

The Cobblestone Shield can be repaired with wooden planks. It has 336 durability and can absorb damage from all damage causes.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with the Stonebound pieces you can make, but prioritize completing all four slots to unlock the attunement bonuses.
• Keep stone or cobblestone available for armor repairs during mining and exploration.
• Use the Haste bonus to improve resource gathering while wearing the full set.
• Carry the Cobblestone Shield when exploring dangerous areas; it can be held in the off-hand alongside the complete armor set.
• Enchant the armor and shield to strengthen the equipment for longer expeditions.
