Quickstart

Craft [Mighty Bone Dust]() from bone meal, then use it on a crop. It advances crops in a 3×3 patch by four growth stages per use. For instant growth across a larger patch, craft [Ultra Mighty Bone Dust]() from Mighty Bone Dust.

To use either item, hold it and use it on a crop or on a bonemealable block. In Creative mode, both items are also available in the Ingredients tab.

Overview

Mighty Bone Dust is a pair of consumable growth items. One boosts crops in a smaller area; the Ultra version instantly matures crops across a larger area. Both can also fertilize a broad area of bonemealable blocks.

What It Adds

How To Use

• On a crop: Use the dust on the crop, or on the block directly beneath it. The crop patch is centered on that crop.
• On a bonemealable block: Use the dust on the block to fertilize an area around it. The area’s size varies, and individual blocks may not respond to the growth attempt.
• Mighty Bone Dust advances crops by four stages per use, up to their maximum age. Ultra Mighty Bone Dust sets crops in its patch to their mature stage.
• In Survival, a dust is consumed only when its use changes something. Creative use does not consume it.

Abilities And Mechanics

Crop growth and area fertilizing are separate uses: targeting a crop selects the crop effect, while targeting a bonemealable block selects area fertilizing. The crop effect affects crop blocks in the patch; the fertilizing effect attempts growth on eligible blocks within its randomly sized area.

Progression And Strategy

Start with Mighty Bone Dust for growing crops a few stages at a time. Save Ultra Mighty Bone Dust for a larger crop patch or when you want crops matured immediately.
