Quickstart

1. Craft the Lava Dragon Visage using the recipe below and equip it in your helmet slot.
2. While wearing it (or holding it in either hand), press R to shoot a dragon fireball in the direction you're looking.
3. Enjoy permanent Fire Resistance as long as the Visage is on your head.

Overview

The Lava Dragon Visage is a fearsome molten helmet forged from obsidian, Eyes of Ender, and a Dragon Head. It doubles as both protective headgear and an offensive weapon, granting continuous fire immunity and the ability to unleash dragon fireballs on demand.

What It Adds

The item's inventory icon matches its appearance when worn, giving your character a dramatic dragon face.

How To Use

Wearing the Visage

Equip the Visage in your helmet slot. While worn, you receive a continuous Fire Resistance effect — you will not take damage from fire, lava, or flames for as long as the helmet is on your head.

Shooting Dragon Fireballs

Press R to fire a dragon fireball in the direction you are looking. This works in three situations:

• The Visage is worn as a helmet.
• The Visage is held in your main hand.
• The Visage is held in your off hand.

Each shot plays the Ender Dragon's shoot sound and launches a dragon fireball projectile that travels in a straight line and explodes on impact.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Fire Resistance — Continuously applied while the Visage is equipped in the helmet slot. The effect refreshes every tick so it never runs out while you're wearing it.
• Dragon Fireball (R key) — Shoots a dragon fireball from roughly eye level. Each shot consumes one point of durability from the Visage. After firing, there is a short cooldown (~3 seconds) before you can shoot again. If the item is on cooldown, pressing R does nothing.
• Durability — The Visage has 336 durability. Each fireball shot uses one point of durability, so you can fire up to 336 times before the item breaks.

Progression And Strategy

• Gather 4 Obsidian, 4 Eyes of Ender, and 1 Dragon Head (obtained after defeating the Ender Dragon) to craft the Visage.
• The built-in Fire Resistance makes the Visage especially powerful in the Nether or during combat involving fire-based enemies — you can wade through lava freely.
• Manage your durability carefully: every fireball costs one point. Consider saving shots for tough fights rather than spamming them.
• The fireball can be fired from either hand, so you can hold a weapon in your main hand and still use the Visage in your off hand to shoot.
• The 3-second cooldown between shots encourages spacing out attacks rather than burst-firing.
