Inventory Trash Slot

Quickstart

1. Spawn into your world — a 🗑 Trash Can item automatically appears in the 9th slot of your hotbar.
2. Use (right-click / interact with) the Trash Can item to open the delete menu.
3. Pick a group of items from the list to choose what to delete.
4. Type in how many of that item you want to delete, then confirm.
5. Watch the action bar confirm the deletion and hear a sound play as your items disappear.

Overview

Inventory Trash Slot gives every player a permanent, dedicated "trash can" tool locked into the 9th hotbar slot. Instead of dragging items out of your inventory one at a time to get rid of them, you can open an organized menu, select exactly what you want to remove, and delete precise amounts instantly — no crafting, no throwing items on the ground, no hassle.

How To Use

• The Trash Can is given to you automatically when you spawn into the world and is locked to the 9th hotbar slot — it cannot be moved out, dropped, or replaced by other items. If something else ends up in that slot, it gets shifted elsewhere in your inventory (or dropped on the ground if your inventory is full).
• Interact with the Trash Can (use/right-click it) to open the delete menu.
• The menu lists your inventory items grouped by type, showing how many of each you're carrying.
• Select a group to bring up an amount prompt. Type a number of items to delete (it defaults to your full stack amount) and confirm.
• The requested amount — capped at however many you actually have — is removed instantly, with a sound and a green action bar message confirming what was deleted.
• If you enter an invalid number (zero, negative, or non-numeric), you'll get a red warning message and nothing will be deleted.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Trash Can cannot be crafted — it is automatically placed in your hotbar's 9th slot the moment you spawn into the world, and it stays there permanently. There are no recipes needed to obtain or use it.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The Trash Can slot is enforced continuously: any item that lands there gets moved elsewhere in your inventory automatically.
• The delete menu only shows real inventory items — the Trash Can itself is never listed and can't be deleted.
• Deleting an item group removes items across all matching stacks in your inventory, not just one stack, up to the amount you specify.
• All deletions are permanent — trashed items are removed from the game, not dropped on the ground.

Progression And Strategy

Use the Trash Can whenever your inventory fills up with junk, duplicate stacks, or unwanted blocks — especially useful in creative-style building sessions where you accumulate large quantities of test items. Because you can specify an exact amount to delete, you can keep a partial stack of an item while trashing the rest, giving you precise control over inventory management without needing to manually count or split stacks.
