Gorillaz Longreach Blade

Quickstart

1. Gather a Netherite Ingot and a Nether Star.
2. Craft the Gorillaz Album Chestplate at a crafting table.
3. Equip it in your chest armor slot.
4. Enjoy near-total damage immunity and a permanent enchanted glow.

Overview

This mod adds a single, powerful piece of armor: the Gorillaz Album Chestplate. Decorated with Gorillaz album art, this chestplate is designed for creative-mode style survival, offering an enormous amount of protection that makes the wearer nearly impervious to damage.

What It Adds

• Gorillaz Album Chestplate — a chest armor item with extreme protection values, a permanent magical glint, and support for enchantments.

Crafting And Obtaining

The chestplate is crafted at a crafting table using rare, high-value materials:

This recipe requires:

• 2x Netherite Ingot (top corners)
• 1x Nether Star (center)
• 1x Netherite Ingot (middle-left slot)

Because the ingredients are difficult to obtain, this chestplate is best treated as an end-game or creative reward item rather than something acquired early in a playthrough.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Absurd Protection: The chestplate provides an extremely high protection value, effectively shielding the wearer from nearly all forms of damage while worn.
• Unbreakable: It never loses durability, so it never needs repairing.
• Enchantable: The chestplate can still accept enchantments, letting players stack additional effects like Thorns or Unbreaking on top of its already massive base protection.
• Magical Glint: The item always appears with a shimmering enchanted glow, regardless of whether it has enchantments applied.
• Single Item Slot: It occupies the standard chestplate slot, just like any other chest armor.

Progression And Strategy

Because of its rarity tier and steep crafting cost, the Gorillaz Album Chestplate is intended as a showcase or "ultimate" armor piece. Once equipped, players can explore dangerous areas, take on powerful enemies, or simply show off the album art without fear of losing the item to damage, since it cannot break. Pair it with other high-tier gear for a fully decked-out, nearly invincible look.
