Quickstart

1. Craft a Spotted Shelter Orb at a crafting table:

1. Hold the orb in your hand.
2. Use it wherever you need cover. It immediately creates a compact cobblestone shelter centered on your position.
3. Enter through the oak door and use the red bed inside if you need to rest.

Each orb creates up to five shelters. The orb disappears after its fifth use.

Overview

The Spotted Shelter Orb is a single-use-at-a-time emergency shelter item. When activated, it clears a 5×5 area around you and builds an enclosed cobblestone shelter with:

• A cobblestone floor
• Cobblestone walls and roof
• A two-block-high oak door
• A red bed

It is useful for quickly establishing cover while exploring, mining, or traveling through dangerous areas.

What It Adds

Spotted Shelter Orb

• Non-stackable
• Creates one shelter per use
• Has five total uses
• Places the shelter around the player’s current position
• Removes itself after the fifth shelter is created

How To Use

Hold the Spotted Shelter Orb and use it with the normal item-use control for your device. The shelter is created immediately around your current location.

The shelter is centered on the block position where you activate the orb. Make sure there is enough space for the structure before using it.

The entrance is built into one wall with an oak door. Open the door to enter or leave, then close it for an enclosed refuge.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the orb at a crafting table using:

• 4 yellow wool
• 4 blue dye
• 1 ender pearl

You can also obtain the item from the Creative inventory under the equipment category.

Abilities And Mechanics

Instant Shelter

Each activation builds a 5×5 shelter with a cobblestone floor, four walls, and a roof. The interior is cleared before the shelter is placed, allowing it to appear immediately even in an uneven area.

Built-In Furnishings

Every shelter includes:

• An oak door at the entrance
• A two-block red bed against the rear wall

The bed can be used like a normal red bed.

Limited Uses

The orb tracks its uses individually:

After each of the first four uses, the orb reports how many shelters remain. The fifth use consumes the orb after creating the shelter.

Progression And Strategy

• Carry an orb during long expeditions as an emergency source of cover.
• Activate it on a reasonably level area with room for the full 5×5 structure.
• Avoid using it near valuable builds, storage, crops, or other blocks you want to keep; the shelter’s construction area is cleared before being rebuilt.
• Craft multiple orbs for journeys that require several temporary shelters.
• Use the included bed as a convenient checkpoint when the surrounding area is safe enough for sleeping.
