Five Void Relics
Quickstart
- Gather the ingredients for a relic and craft it at a crafting table. Each recipe unlocks when you obtain its key ingredient:
- Voidheart Blade and Eventide Edge: Echo Shard
- Gravity Maw: Nether Star
- Nullfire Fang: Blaze Rod
- Singularity's End: Ender Eye
- Equip a relic in your main hand.
- Use the relic to activate its personal buff and visual effect.
- Strike an enemy to trigger its attack effect.
- Mine a block while holding it to receive a relic-specific utility effect.
Each player can retain only one copy of each relic, but can collect all five.
Overview
Five Void Relics adds five unique, epic-rarity sword weapons. Every relic has its own recipe, damage profile, durability, self-use ability, hit effect, and mining effect.
The relics do not stack. Their glint makes them easy to recognize, and each one occupies a single inventory slot.
What It Adds
| Relic | Attack Damage | Durability | Main Specialty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Voidheart Blade | 14 | 2,031 | Strength, resistance, and extra damage |
| Eventide Edge | 12 | 1,800 | Darkness, stealth, and night vision |
| Gravity Maw | 18 | 2,500 | Knockback, levitation, and mobility |
| Nullfire Fang | 13 | 1,561 | Fire and wither damage |
| Singularity's End | 15 | 1,900 | Poison, blindness, and defensive buffs |
All five relics are hand-equipped swords and can be enchanted as swords.
How To Use
Using a Relic
Hold a relic in your main hand and use it to activate its personal effects. Using a relic also produces a themed particle effect.
| Relic | Effect on Use |
|---|---|
| Voidheart Blade | Strength II and Resistance |
| Eventide Edge | Night Vision and brief Invisibility |
| Gravity Maw | Jump Boost II and Resistance |
| Nullfire Fang | Fire Resistance and Speed II |
| Singularity's End | Absorption II and Slow Falling |
Hitting Enemies
Strike an enemy with a relic to trigger its combat effect.
| Relic | Effect on Hit |
|---|---|
| Voidheart Blade | Deals 4 additional damage and applies Weakness II |
| Eventide Edge | Applies Darkness and Slowness II |
| Gravity Maw | Launches the target away from you and applies Levitation |
| Nullfire Fang | Sets the target on fire for 5 seconds and applies Wither |
| Singularity's End | Applies Poison II and brief Blindness |
Gravity Maw launches targets in the direction you are facing, making it useful for controlling groups or pushing enemies away from dangerous positions.
Mining With a Relic
Mine a block while holding a relic to receive a short utility effect.
| Relic | Effect on Mining |
|---|---|
| Voidheart Blade | Haste II |
| Eventide Edge | Night Vision |
| Gravity Maw | Jump Boost III |
| Nullfire Fang | Fire Resistance |
| Singularity's End | Regeneration |

Abilities And Mechanics
- Each relic is unique and has a maximum stack size of one.
- Each player can retain one copy of each named relic.
- Duplicate copies of the same relic are not retained in a player's inventory.
- You can carry all five different relics at once.
- Relics are epic-rarity weapons with a permanent enchantment glint.
- Their combat effects activate when you hit an enemy.
- Their utility effects activate when you use them or mine blocks with them.
- Effects are short-duration buffs, so use the relic again when you need to refresh its power.
Progression And Strategy
- Start with Voidheart Blade for a balanced combat weapon with Strength, Resistance, bonus damage, and Haste.
- Choose Eventide Edge for exploration in dark areas or for briefly becoming invisible.
- Use Gravity Maw when fighting groups, controlling enemy positioning, or crossing difficult terrain.
- Take Nullfire Fang into fiery areas and use its fire and wither effects against tough targets.
- Keep Singularity's End for dangerous encounters where Absorption, Slow Falling, Poison, and Blindness provide the most value.
- Because each relic has a separate specialty, crafting all five gives you a weapon for combat, exploration, mobility, fire protection, and survival.
