Overview
The Finality Blaster is a powerful ranged item with a maximum range of 48 blocks. Its beam stops at the first entity or block it reaches and displays a trail of end-rod particles.
The blaster has six modes:
- Ice ray — replaces the targeted block with ice.
- Fire ray — replaces the targeted block with fire.
- Honey mode — replaces the targeted block with a honey block.
- Water mode — replaces the targeted block with water.
- Rainbow concrete mode — replaces the targeted block with a randomly selected concrete color.
- Random mode — randomly chooses one of the five block-effect modes for each shot.
What It Adds
- The Finality Blaster item
- A lethal beam attack against entities
- Six selectable firing modes
- Block transformation effects
- A visible beam particle trail
- A shaped crafting recipe
How To Use
Fire the blaster
Hold the item and use it while facing a target.
- The first entity in the beam’s path is killed immediately.
- If no entity is in front of the first block, the block is affected by the selected mode.
- The beam can travel up to 48 blocks.
- Liquids can be targeted, while passable blocks are ignored.
- The blaster does not damage its wielder when fired.
Change modes
Sneak and use the blaster to advance to the next mode. Modes cycle in this order:
- Ice ray
- Fire ray
- Honey mode
- Water mode
- Rainbow concrete mode
- Random mode
- Back to Ice ray
The selected mode is shown in the action bar after switching. In Random mode, each shot selects one of the first five modes and displays the chosen effect.
Block effects
When a block is targeted, the original block is destroyed before the replacement is placed. Rainbow Concrete mode randomly selects from red, orange, yellow, lime, cyan, blue, purple, and magenta concrete.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft the Finality Blaster at a crafting table using four iron ingots, one gunpowder, one crossbow, and one redstone:

The recipe produces one Finality Blaster. It can also be obtained directly with the item command shown in Quickstart.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Instant elimination: Entities struck directly by the beam are killed immediately, including entities with very high health.
- 48-block range: The beam ends at the first target or at its maximum range.
- Target priority: An entity between you and a block is hit first, so the block behind it remains unchanged.
- Block replacement: If a block is the first target, it is destroyed and replaced according to the current mode.
- Visible beam: End-rod particles mark the beam’s path.
- Durability: The blaster has 36 maximum durability.
Progression And Strategy
The Finality Blaster is designed for experimentation rather than a conventional progression system.
- Use Ice ray to create quick temporary platforms or barriers.
- Use Fire ray to ignite exposed targets.
- Use Honey mode for sticky-looking builds and terrain effects.
- Use Water mode to place water at a distance.
- Use Rainbow concrete mode for unpredictable colorful construction.
- Use Random mode when you want every shot to produce a different block effect.
- In combat, aim carefully: the beam affects the first entity it encounters, even if another target is farther away.
