Diamond Dirt

Quickstart

1. Find a Dirt block or place one in the world.
2. Break the Dirt block normally.
3. Collect the Diamond that appears where the block was broken.
4. Repeat with more Dirt blocks—each Dirt block rewards exactly one diamond.

No special tool, item, recipe, or interaction is required. Breaking other block types does not trigger a diamond reward.

Overview

Diamond Dirt turns ordinary Dirt into a source of diamonds. Whenever a player successfully breaks a Dirt block, one diamond is dropped at the block’s location.

What It Adds

• Breaking one Dirt block rewards 1 Diamond.
• The diamond appears as a dropped item at the broken block.
• The reward applies to Dirt blocks broken by a player.
• Other block types, including Grass Blocks, do not provide this reward.

How To Use

Break Dirt with the usual Minecraft block-breaking controls. After the Dirt disappears, look at the former block location and pick up the dropped diamond.

You can also place Dirt and break it again to trigger the reward for that block.

Crafting And Obtaining

Diamond Dirt does not add any crafting recipes. Obtain diamonds by breaking Dirt blocks.

• Keep Dirt in an accessible area if you want to gather diamonds repeatedly.
• Break Dirt over a safe, easy-to-collect surface so dropped diamonds do not become difficult to retrieve.
• Use the diamonds for normal Minecraft equipment, tools, armor, and other diamond-related purposes.
