Overview
Event Horizon Armor is a four-piece armor set built around bending nearby projectiles and unleashing a temporary gravitational shield. Its set bonuses require the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots to be equipped together.
What It Adds
| Piece | Armor slot | Recipe |
|---|---|---|
| Event Horizon Armor Helmet | Head | |
| Event Horizon Armor Chestplate | Chest | |
| Event Horizon Armor Leggings | Legs | |
| Event Horizon Armor Boots | Feet |
How To Use
Wear the full set to gain its passive effects and bend nearby projectiles toward you. To activate the shield, use Activate Event Horizon Shield; its default key is R, and you can change it in the controls menu.
The shield lasts 5 seconds and has a 30-second cooldown. Keep all four pieces equipped until it ends: removing any piece ends the shield immediately and releases its final blast.
Crafting And Obtaining
The helmet and chestplate are made in a crafting table. The leggings and boots are made in a smithing table using a netherite upgrade smithing template, the corresponding netherite armor piece, and a nether star.

Abilities And Mechanics
- Full-set passives: Night Vision, Fire Resistance, Speed, and Slow Falling are supplied by the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots respectively. Wearing the complete set also grants Resistance.
- Projectile bending: With the full set equipped, nearby projectiles not owned by you are slowed and drawn toward you. This can change their paths, but is not a guaranteed block.
- Event Horizon Shield: While active, the shield greatly reduces incoming damage and pulls nearby non-player creatures toward you, slowing them. At the end, it damages and knocks nearby non-player creatures away.
- Cooldown: The shield cannot be activated again until its 30-second cooldown has elapsed. The on-screen message indicates when it is recharging.
Progression And Strategy
The helmet and chestplate both require a nether star, and the smithing upgrades for the leggings and boots each require one as well. Save the shield for groups of nearby creatures or moments when you need extra damage resistance; stay in the full set through its final blast to get the complete effect.
