Quickstart
- Craft Emberheart Alloy from a netherite ingot, blaze powder, and magma cream:
- At a smithing table, combine the Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, a netherite armor piece, and Emberheart Alloy to make the matching Netherguard piece. Recipes:
- Equip all four pieces—helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots—to gain the full set bonuses: extra health, increased movement speed, and fire resistance.
Overview
Emberheart Netherguard turns netherite into a set of powerful armor and adds several fiery tools and consumables. Its main feature is the Netherguard armor set: the bonuses apply when you wear the complete set.

How To Use
- Netherguard armor: Equip each piece in its matching armor slot. The set bonuses require all four pieces at once.
- Emberheart Igniter: Use it on a block or a nearby spot to try to place fire in the adjacent space. It can also set a targeted entity on fire for 5 seconds. Successful uses consume durability.
- Emberheart Pickaxe: Mine a block to also break suitable neighboring blocks in a 3×3 plane. The plane follows the direction you mine; extra blocks cost pickaxe durability. Blocks with block entities are not included.
- Emberheart Enchanted Golden Apple: Eat it to gain its effects. It can be eaten even when you are not hungry.

Abilities And Mechanics
Wearing the complete Netherguard set grants 3 extra hearts, a speed boost, and fire resistance. These bonuses are active only while all four Netherguard pieces are equipped.
Eating the Emberheart Enchanted Golden Apple grants absorption for 6 minutes, regeneration for 1 minute, and resistance and fire resistance for 15 minutes.
Progression And Strategy
Start by gathering the alloy ingredients and upgrading your netherite armor at a smithing table. Completing the set is the key step for gaining its health, speed, and fire-resistance bonuses. Keep Emberheart Alloy available for armor repairs, and use the pickaxe’s area mining when you want to clear a broader face of suitable blocks.
