Overview

The Dragonfire Blaster is an epic rapid-fire weapon. It sends a bright orange beam instantly toward where you aim, rather than launching a visible traveling projectile.

What It Adds

• Dragonfire Blaster: A durable, two-handed-looking blaster that fires while you hold use.
• Dragonfire Blaster Magazine: Ammunition for the blaster. Magazines stack up to 64.

How To Use

The blaster draws ammunition from your inventory or offhand; you do not need to reload manually. Keep magazines supplied, then hold use to fire continuously. On keyboard and mouse, use the usual item-use button.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Each shot deals 7 damage and can reach up to 40 blocks.
• It fires every four game ticks—about five shots per second while held.
• Shots hit the first damageable entity in their path, but stop at intervening blocks. They do not break blocks.

Progression And Strategy

Blaze rods and blaze powder are needed to craft the blaster; iron and copper keep its ammunition stocked. Aim carefully and use its range to engage targets before they get close.
