Quickstart

1. Craft the Diamond Magnet using the recipe below and place it in your hotbar.
2. Hold it in your hand and right-click to instantly receive one diamond.
3. Repeat every second — the item has a 1-second cooldown before it can be used again.

Overview

The Diamond Magnet is a reusable utility tool that generates diamonds on demand. Hold it, right-click, and a diamond appears directly in your inventory. It never wears out and has no durability, making it a permanent source of diamonds limited only by its cooldown.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Right-click while holding the Diamond Magnet to generate one diamond.
• The diamond goes straight into your inventory if any space is available.
• If your inventory is full, the diamond is dropped on the ground at your feet — you will not lose it, but make sure to pick it up.
• A 1-second cooldown applies after each use. The item will briefly grey out in your hotbar during this period.
• A pickup sound plays on each successful use, confirming the diamond was generated.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Diamond Magnet is crafted at a crafting table with diamonds, iron ingots, and a piece of redstone at the center. The recipe is unlocked as soon as you join a world.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Infinite uses — the magnet has no durability and will never break.
• Cooldown — 20 game ticks (1 second) between each use.
• Inventory-safe — if there is no room in your inventory, the diamond drops at your feet rather than being lost.
• Single item — produces exactly one diamond per right-click.

Progression And Strategy

Because the Diamond Magnet produces one diamond per second indefinitely, a single magnet effectively gives you unlimited diamonds over time. Craft it as early as you can gather the materials — four diamonds, four iron ingots, and one redstone — and the resource ceiling for diamond-tier gear, tools, and enchanting tables largely disappears. Consider keeping the magnet in a dedicated hotbar slot for quick access whenever you need to stock up.
