World Cutting Slash

Quickstart

1. Craft the World Cutting Slash at a crafting table:

1. Equip it in your hand. You can also obtain it with:

/give @s com_crimson_flame_cleaver_qbd65pm5:my_sword 1

1. Face the direction you want to cut and use the item without crouching. This creates a forward-moving vertical slash that removes blocks and damages entities.
2. Crouch or sneak while using the item to unleash the wide horizontal version.
3. Each slash has its own 2-minute cooldown. Trying to use an ability early displays its remaining cooldown time.

The slash removes blocks directly without producing drops. Test it in an expendable area before using it near builds.

Overview

World Cutting Slash is a powerful sword-like item that clears enormous regions in front of the player. It has two distinct attacks:

• World Cutting Slash: A tall, narrow cut extending up to 100 blocks forward.
• Crouching World Cutting Slash: A broad, low cut extending up to 100 blocks forward.

Both attacks deal heavy damage to mobs and players caught in their path.

What It Adds

How To Use

Hold the item and press the normal Use button. The direction is determined by the player’s horizontal facing direction.

Standing Slash

Use the item while standing or otherwise not sneaking.

The World Cutting Slash:

• Travels up to 100 blocks forward.
• Cuts a path approximately 3 blocks wide.
• Extends 90 blocks high.
• Removes blocks in its path without dropping items.
• Deals 70 damage to each mob or player it hits.
• Hits each target only once per slash.
• Excludes the user from its damage.

Crouching Slash

Sneak or crouch before using the item.

The Crouching World Cutting Slash:

• Travels up to 100 blocks forward.
• Covers approximately 90 blocks across.
• Is 3 blocks high.
• Removes blocks in the affected area without dropping items.
• Deals 70 damage to each mob or player in the area.
• Hits each target only once per slash.
• Excludes the user from its damage.

The two attacks use separate cooldowns, so you can use one attack when the other is unavailable.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the item in a crafting table using:

• Netherite swords
• Blaze powder
• Redstone
• A nether star

The recipe produces one World Cutting Slash. In Creative mode, it is available in the Equipment category.

Abilities And Mechanics

Block Destruction

Blocks inside either slash area are replaced with air immediately. They do not drop items, so the attacks are best suited to clearing terrain, opening tunnels, flattening areas, or destroying structures.

The block directly beneath the player is preserved, helping prevent the attack from removing the player’s immediate support block.

Entity Damage

Mobs and players inside the slash area take 70 damage. The player holding the item is not damaged by their own attack.

Cooldowns

Each attack becomes available again after 2 minutes. The cooldown begins when the ability is activated. Using the same attack before it is ready does not trigger another slash; an action-bar message shows the remaining time.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the standing slash to carve tall corridors, breach cliffs, or clear a long line through terrain.
• Use the crouching slash to clear wide fields, destroy large structures, or damage groups of enemies.
• Aim carefully before using the item, since the affected areas are extremely large.
• Keep the item repaired or replace it when its durability becomes low.
• Use the attacks in open areas where the block destruction will not damage valuable builds.
• Since the attacks do not produce block drops, use ordinary tools when you want to collect materials.
