Creper Lucky Mob

Quickstart

1. Open your creative inventory and grab a Creper Lucky Mob Spawn Egg (found in the Spawn Eggs tab) to summon a Lucky Creeper wherever you like.
2. Grab an Anti-Creeper Torch from the Functional Blocks tab and place it like a normal torch to create a creeper-free safe zone.
3. Approach or provoke the Lucky Creeper and let it explode — watch for particle "mood" hints before it pops, then see what chaotic outcome it triggers.
4. Keep an eye out for Lucky Creepers spawning naturally in the Overworld at night — they mix in with regular hostile mob spawns.
5. If a boss-tier outcome triggers, be ready to fight (or flee) the Mutant Lucky Golem.

Overview

Creper Lucky Mob turns the ordinary Creeper into a gamble. Lucky Creepers look and act like creepers but replace their explosion with a randomized "lucky block" style event — anything from harmless fireworks and loot to dangerous mob swarms or a full boss encounter. To balance the risk, the mod also adds a defensive tool: the Anti-Creeper Torch, which actively repels creepers from the area it lights.

How To Use

Spawning Lucky Creepers

• Use the spawn egg on any block or mob to place a Lucky Creeper instantly.
• Lucky Creepers also spawn naturally at night in Overworld biomes alongside other hostile mobs, so you may run into one without summoning it yourself.
• Lucky Creepers come in different sizes (from small, roughly baby-zombie sized, up to large, roughly iron-golem sized) and different textures (normal, rainbow, diamond, void). Larger and rarer-looking variants tend to produce stronger loot and more intense chaotic effects when they go off.

Triggering the Lucky Explosion

• Just like a normal creeper, a Lucky Creeper lights its fuse when it spots you and detonates after a short delay (or immediately if hit with fire).
• Right before detonation, watch for particle telegraphs: friendly green sparkle particles hint at a "good" outcome, while dark smoke and angry particles hint at a "bad" or dangerous outcome.
• When it goes off, instead of a normal explosion, it triggers one of many possible random events — ranging from item and experience drops, to lightning strikes, to summoning extra mobs, to rare boss and jackpot-style events.

Anti-Creeper Torch

• Place the Anti-Creeper Torch anywhere you'd place a regular torch (on top of or against blocks).
• Any creeper (including Lucky Creepers) that wanders near a lit Anti-Creeper Torch will be removed from the area, keeping your base or farm safe from creeper explosions.
• Use several torches spaced around a base or farm to create a reliable creeper-free perimeter.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for this mod's items — the Spawn Egg and Anti-Creeper Torch are obtained directly from the Creative inventory (Spawn Eggs and Functional Blocks tabs, respectively). The Anti-Creeper Torch can also be mined and picked back up like a normal torch once placed.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Size and rarity scaling: A Lucky Creeper's size affects how strong its lucky outcome is — bigger Lucky Creepers drop more loot, spawn more mobs, and are more likely to trigger rarer, more dramatic events.
• Telegraphed outcomes: Particle effects while the fuse is burning give you a hint (but not a guarantee) of whether the upcoming event will be beneficial or hazardous, so you can decide whether to stay close or run.
• Rare "classic" jackpot events: A small chance exists for a especially dramatic, old-school lucky-block-style event to trigger, which can include big loot, dangerous summons, or environmental effects.
• Mutant Lucky Golem boss: This powerful golem-type boss can only appear as a rare result of a Lucky Creeper explosion. It has a super jump attack that launches it several blocks into the air toward its target, and slams down with a fiery stomp that sets nearby blocks and entities on fire. It glows for a short time after spawning, making it easy to spot from a distance.
• Anti-Creeper Torch defense: The torch continuously checks its surroundings and removes any nearby creepers each time the world updates, giving it an always-on protective effect as long as it stays lit and placed.
• Safety respecting world settings: The mod's chaotic effects still respect normal world rules such as Peaceful difficulty and mob griefing/spawning game rules, so its behavior stays consistent with how your world is configured.

Progression And Strategy

• Early on, treat every creeper hiss with caution — you won't always know if it's a normal creeper or a Lucky Creeper until you see how it looks (variant textures and sizes) or how it behaves.
• Use Anti-Creeper Torches around builds, farms, and paths you frequently travel to avoid unwanted explosions while still being able to seek out Lucky Creepers elsewhere for their rewards.
• Bigger, more exotic-looking Lucky Creepers (rainbow, diamond, void textures; larger sizes) are worth the risk if you're prepared for a fight — they have a higher chance of dropping serious loot or triggering rare jackpot events.
• Keep gear ready for a surprise Mutant Lucky Golem encounter, since it can appear unexpectedly and hits hard; treat it as a mini-boss fight rather than something to shrug off.
• Collect and observe the special mobs (Lucky Villager, Tech Zombie, Void Skull) that can emerge from Lucky Creeper events — they add variety and unique risks/rewards to your exploration.
