Color Shift Arena

Quickstart

1. Gather players in the same dimension within 24 blocks of the player who will start the match.
2. Start the game with /colorshift start, or open the pause menu and select Play Color Shift. The players nearby are moved onto a 150×150-block arena centered on the starter.
3. Watch the boss bar for the target color and countdown. When time runs out, be standing on that color’s tile to stay in the match.

No items or crafting are required. The arena replaces the floor beneath it for the match; when the match ends, the floor is restored and participants return to where they started.

Overview

Color Shift Arena is a multiplayer survival game of quick color changes. Make it through up to 20 rounds: players who miss the target are eliminated, and the last player—or players—remaining win.

What It Adds

The arena floor is randomly arranged in patches of eight concrete colors: red, orange, yellow, lime, cyan, blue, purple, and magenta. The target changes each round and does not repeat the previous round’s color.

How To Use

• /colorshift start begins a match. The command must be started by a player; nearby players in the same dimension join automatically.
• /colorshift status reports the round, target color, and number of players still in.
• /colorshift stop ends the match early without awarding a winner’s reward.

Only one match can run at a time. At the end of a match—or if it is stopped—the arena floor is restored and participants are returned to their saved positions.

Abilities And Mechanics

The boss bar shows the round, target color, and time remaining. Each round starts with five seconds; later rounds get shorter, down to two seconds.

At the timer’s end, you must be on the matching tile, on the arena floor and grounded. Being on the wrong color, outside the arena, or not grounded eliminates you.

Progression And Strategy

Look for the target as soon as it appears and move early; the countdown gets shorter in later rounds. Survive all 20 rounds to win if no one else remains. If multiple players survive the final round, they tie. Each winner receives three emeralds.
