Cinematic Tripod Camera
Quickstart
- Craft the camera at a crafting table:
- Place it on an open 2×2 area. The full 2×2×2 tripod assembles automatically and faces toward you.
- Right-click any part of the tripod to look through it. Move your mouse to pan and use the mouse wheel to zoom from 1× to 5×.
- Press Sneak (Shift by default) to exit. You can’t move while operating the camera.
Overview
The tripod provides a fixed viewpoint you can aim and zoom. Each camera remembers its last aim, so opening it again returns to that view.
What It Adds
- A placeable tripod camera assembled from multiple blocks.
- A stationary first-person view with mouse-controlled panning and scroll-wheel zoom.
How To Use
Right-click any part of a placed tripod to enter its view. Aim around with the mouse and adjust the zoom with the wheel. Press Sneak to return to normal play.
The camera starts at your current look direction the first time you use it. After that, it opens at the aim last used for that camera.
Crafting And Obtaining
The crafting recipe uses two iron ingots, one spyglass, and three sticks. The camera is also available in the Creative inventory’s Functional Blocks tab.
How to install
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
1. Download and install the new CreativeMode Launcher
2. Click to play on the top of the screen.
3. That's it — launches instantly. No complicated setup required.
