Domain Amplification

Quickstart

1. Obtain Domain amplification from the Creative inventory under equipment, or use:

   /give @s com_azure_guardian_p2pz75zi:my_sword
   

2. Place it in your main hand.
3. Use the item—right-click, tap the use button, or use your platform’s equivalent—to activate its protection.
4. Keep it in your main hand while fighting. You will gain Resistance X for up to 10 seconds and see a sculk soul particle aura around you.
5. Try landing melee hits during the active period: each hit also deals 1 point of additional unavoidable damage.

The ability has a 60-second cooldown. Attempting to use it during cooldown displays the remaining time above the hotbar.

Overview

Domain amplification is a single-stack equipment item that grants powerful temporary protection when used. Its protection is active only while the item remains in your main hand.

The item does not lose durability when used.

What It Adds

• Domain amplification item
• A temporary Resistance X ability
• A visible sculk soul aura while the ability is active
• An additional 1 point of unavoidable damage on melee hits during the active period
• A 60-second ability cooldown

How To Use

Hold Domain amplification in your main hand and use it.

While active:

• Resistance X is continually maintained for up to 10 seconds.
• The effect ends immediately if you move the item out of your main hand.
• Melee hits deal their normal damage plus 1 additional point of damage.
• The additional damage is unavoidable and bypasses armor and resistance effects on the target.
• Sculk soul particles appear around you as an aura.

After activation, the ability cannot be activated again until the 60-second cooldown expires. The cooldown continues even if the item is removed from your hand.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft Domain amplification at a crafting table using amethyst shards, shields, echo shards, diamond blocks, and a book.

You can also obtain it from the Creative inventory or give it to yourself with its item ID:

/give @s com_azure_guardian_p2pz75zi:my_sword

Abilities And Mechanics

Temporary Protection

Using the item activates Resistance X for a maximum of 10 seconds. The effect is refreshed during this window so that it remains available while Domain amplification is held in the main hand.

Switching to another item, moving the item to another inventory slot, or otherwise removing it from the main hand ends the protection immediately.

Melee Amplification

While the protection is active and Domain amplification is still in your main hand, every melee hit you land applies an extra 1 point of unavoidable damage to the target. This damage is added separately from the hit’s normal damage.

Cooldown Feedback

The ability has a 60-second cooldown. If you try to activate it too early, the action bar shows a message such as:

Domain amplification cooldown: 42s

Durability

Domain amplification has a maximum stack size of one and does not take durability damage when used.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft or obtain the item before entering dangerous areas where short-term damage reduction is valuable.
• Activate the ability just before a major battle or hazardous encounter rather than using it casually.
• Keep it selected in your main hand for the entire 10-second activation window.
• Use the active period to engage enemies directly and take advantage of the extra unavoidable melee damage.
• Plan around the 60-second cooldown; once the ability is spent, you must survive until it becomes available again.
