Wolfpack Rod

Quickstart

1. Obtain the rod from the Creative inventory, or use: /give @s com_wolfpack_rod_3y4knakm:my_sword
2. Hold the Wolfpack Rod in your hand.
3. Use it to summon a pack of 50 wolves around you.
4. The wolves are automatically tamed, equipped with wolf armor, and empowered with Speed and Strength.
5. Try summoning the pack near hostile mobs or bring it along while exploring.

Overview

The Wolfpack Rod is a summon-focused weapon that calls an armored wolf pack to your side. Each use creates 50 tamed wolves in a ring around the player.

The summoned wolves:

• Belong to the player who used the rod.
• Spawn close to the player.
• Wear wolf armor.
• Receive Speed II and Strength II for 30 seconds.
• Behave as tamed wolves, including standard wolf-following and combat behavior.

What It Adds

Wolfpack Rod

The rod is a handheld equipment item with:

• 6 attack damage
• 256 durability
• Sword enchantment compatibility
• Wolf placement functionality when used as an entity-placing item

Its primary feature is summoning the empowered wolf pack.

How To Use

Hold the Wolfpack Rod and use it with the normal item-use control for your platform:

• Bedrock touch: Press and hold the item-use button.
• Controller: Press the use-item trigger.
• Keyboard and mouse: Right-click.

Each activation summons 50 wolves in several circular layers approximately 2.5–4.3 blocks from your position. Make sure there is enough open space around you before using the rod.

The wolves appear at your current height, so avoid activating the rod in cramped areas, over dangerous drops, or where there is insufficient room for the pack.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Wolfpack Rod at a crafting table using:

• 1 bone
• 2 wolf spawn eggs
• 1 fishing rod
• 1 iron ingot

You can also obtain it from the Creative inventory in the equipment category or give it to yourself with:

/give @s com_wolfpack_rod_3y4knakm:my_sword

Abilities And Mechanics

Pack Summoning

One use produces a full pack of 50 wolves around the user. The wolves are distributed around the player rather than appearing in a single stack.

Automatic Taming

Every summoned wolf is tamed by the player who activated the rod. They can assist in combat and follow normal tamed-wolf behavior.

Armor

Each summoned wolf receives wolf armor immediately after spawning, giving the pack a tougher appearance and improved protection compared with an unarmored wolf.

Temporary Empowerment

The wolves receive:

• Speed II
• Strength II
• 30-second duration

The effects have no visible particles, but they improve the pack’s movement and combat performance while active.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the rod in an open area so the entire pack can spawn safely.
• Summon the wolves before entering a dangerous area to give them time to gather around you.
• Keep hostile targets away from cliffs, lava, and other hazards that could separate the pack.
• Use the rod near groups of enemies when you need a sudden combat force.
• Because each activation creates 50 wolves, use it carefully in confined spaces to avoid crowding.
• Carry the rod as both a summoning tool and a backup melee weapon.
