Amethyst Diamond Aegis

Quickstart

1. Gather a full set of diamond armor and at least 16 amethyst shards.
2. At a crafting table, combine each diamond armor piece with 4 amethyst shards (shapeless) to upgrade it.
3. Equip any piece — you'll immediately gain Speed II, Strength II, and Haste III.
4. Equip all four pieces to also receive periodic Regeneration II bursts.

Creative mode: Find all four pieces in the Equipment tab under their respective armor groups for instant testing.

Overview

Amethyst Diamond Aegis adds a four-piece armor set that fuses diamond-grade protection with amethyst power. The armor looks like polished diamond with glowing amethyst accents and grants powerful passive effects simply by being worn — no activation needed.

What It Adds

All four pieces share the same enchantability as diamond armor and can be repaired using diamonds or amethyst shards at an anvil.

Crafting And Obtaining

Each piece is crafted by combining the matching diamond armor piece with 4 amethyst shards at a crafting table. The recipe is shapeless — placement order doesn't matter.

Abilities And Mechanics

Single Piece — Passive Combat Buffs

Equipping any one or more pieces of the set continuously applies:

These effects refresh every second while the armor is worn and are removed instantly the moment you take off all Amethyst Diamond armor pieces. They will never linger after unequipping.

Full Set — Regeneration Bursts

Wearing all four pieces together periodically applies Regeneration II for a short burst. These bursts cycle automatically as long as the complete set remains equipped. Removing even one piece immediately cancels the regeneration effect.

Progression And Strategy

• Upgrade early — you only need existing diamond armor and amethyst shards, making this a natural next step after gearing up in diamonds.
• Mix and match — you don't need the full set to benefit. Even a single piece grants the Speed/Strength/Haste trio, making it useful as a partial swap-in during combat or mining.
• Go full set for sustain — the Regeneration II bursts from the complete set provide passive healing that significantly extends survivability in prolonged fights or raids.
• Enchant as normal — the armor accepts all standard armor enchantments at the same enchantability as diamond, so Protection, Unbreaking, and Mending all work as expected.
• Repair on the go — keep diamonds or amethyst shards in your inventory to repair at an anvil without needing a dedicated repair material beyond what you already farm.
