Water Lucky Block

Quickstart

1. Craft a Water Lucky Block using the recipe below, then place it down in the world.
2. Break it (any tool works, though it needs at least a stone pickaxe to mine efficiently) to trigger its watery surprise — a splash of particles, a sound cue, and a random reward.
3. Collect the loot that drops: ocean treasures, gear pieces, or one of the mod's unique weapons.
4. Use the Ocean Pearl drops to craft a full set of Water Armor, and try out the Water Sword, Water Gun, Tidal Trident, and other combat toys you find.

Every player automatically receives the crafting recipe for the Water Lucky Block when they join the world, so you can craft one right away even without finding a recipe book.

Overview

Water Lucky Block adds a single mysterious block that hides ocean-themed loot, powerful weapons, protective gear, and a few tricky "prison" gadgets inside. Breaking the block is a gamble — you never know exactly what you'll get, but the possibilities range from useful crafting materials to devastating weaponry and even temporary buffs.

What It Adds

• Water Lucky Block – the central lucky block; breaking it triggers a random reward.
• Ocean Pearl – a crafting material used to make Water Armor.
• Water Armor Set – Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots, offering strong protection and repaired with Prismarine Crystals.
• Weapons:
  • Water Sword – an extremely powerful, fireproof blade.
  • Shell Blade – a lighter, uncommon sword.
  • Tidal Trident – a heavy sword-like weapon that also shoots water and grants underwater breathing while held.
  • Water Gun – a ranged weapon that fires damaging water blasts.
  • Liquid Shuriken – a throwable projectile that deals massive damage on a direct hit.
  • Water Strangler – a special water-based weapon.
• Water Bubble – a melee item that traps enemies in a debilitating bubble prison on hit.
• Water Prison Ball – a thrown ball that seals a target inside a sealed obsidian-and-water cell.

How To Use

Breaking the Lucky Block

Place the Water Lucky Block anywhere and break it like a normal block. It plays a splashing sound and bubble/splash particle effects, then grants one of many random outcomes, including:

• Ocean loot such as Tridents, Heart of the Sea, Prismarine Shards/Crystals, Nautilus Shells, gold, or emeralds.
• Temporary buffs: Water Breathing, Dolphin's Grace, and Conduit Power for several minutes.
• Friendly Dolphins spawning nearby.
• Batches of Liquid Shurikens or other mod weapons.

Because the outcome is random, breaking multiple lucky blocks is the best way to collect all the mod's unique items.

Using Weapons

• Water Gun and Liquid Shuriken: right-click to fire a projectile. The Water Gun briefly damages its durability and has a short cooldown between shots; the Liquid Shuriken is thrown and consumed on use (unless in Creative mode) and deals extreme damage to whatever it hits.
• Tidal Trident: right-click to summon a block of water in front of you — handy for filling potholes, fighting fire, or creating quick water elevators. Simply holding the trident grants continuous underwater breathing. It also swings like a strong sword in melee.
• Water Bubble: attack an enemy with it to knock them back, damage them, and trap them in a swirling bubble cage that slows, weakens, and saps their mining speed for about 15 seconds. It also grants them water breathing so they don't drown while imprisoned. The bubble item takes durability damage each time it's used this way.
• Water Prison Ball: throw it at a target to instantly encase them in a sealed 3×3×5 obsidian cell filled with water — a great way to lock down a hostile mob or troublesome opponent. The ball is consumed on throw (unless in Creative mode).

Wearing Armor

Equip the Water Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots as a full set for high protection and toughness. The armor is repaired using Prismarine Crystals.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Water Lucky Block itself is crafted from water buckets, iron blocks, and a quartz block:

Ocean Pearls are the key crafting ingredient for the full armor set — obtain them primarily as loot from breaking Water Lucky Blocks, then craft:

• — Water Chestplate
• — Water Helmet
• — Water Leggings

All other items (weapons, the Water Bubble, the Water Prison Ball, and the Liquid Shuriken) are obtained only as random rewards from breaking Water Lucky Blocks — they have no separate crafting recipe.

Abilities And Mechanics

Progression And Strategy

Since almost every unique weapon and utility item in this mod only comes from breaking Water Lucky Blocks, the core strategy is simple: craft and break as many Water Lucky Blocks as you can find or afford to make. Save any Ocean Pearls you receive to build up a full Water Armor set for survivability, and hold onto Water Prison Balls and Water Bubbles as crowd-control tools for dangerous fights. The Tidal Trident is especially useful for underwater exploration thanks to its built-in breathing effect, while the Water Gun and Liquid Shuriken serve as strong ranged options once you've collected a stock of them from lucky block drops.
