Devil Lucky Block

Quickstart

1. Craft a Devil Lucky Block using the recipe below (you'll also automatically receive this recipe when you join the world).
2. Place the block anywhere and punch it — breaking it triggers its reward roll. Don't stand back expecting a chest: the block itself disappears and its rewards fly out as items.
3. Collect Cursed Redstone drops and use them to build the Devil Detonator and Devil Fireball Staff.
4. Combine Devil Heart drops with enchanted golden apples to cook up powerful foods, or forge Devil weapons and armor once you have enough Devil Hearts and Netherite.
5. Watch out — some rolls are traps, not treasure!

Overview

The Devil Lucky Block is a mysterious, fiery block dropped into the world by crafting. Breaking it gambles a random result: sometimes valuable loot, sometimes a hazard. Beyond the block itself, the mod introduces a small arsenal of devilish gear — cursed foods, a healing/inferno sword pair, a fireball staff, a safe-blast detonator, and a full set of overpowered Devil armor — all built from rare drops the Lucky Block provides. A rare Devil Citadel structure can also be found generated in the Nether, guarded by towering Devil Brutes.

How To Use

The Devil Lucky Block

Place the block down like any normal block, then break it with any tool (pickaxe, axe, or shovel all work). Breaking it in Survival mode triggers a random outcome — it never drops itself, only its rewards. In Creative mode, breaking it does nothing special.

Possible outcomes include:

• Common vanilla treasures: diamonds, emeralds, gold, iron, redstone, lapis, obsidian, ender pearls, blaze rods, fire charges, TNT, or golden apples.
• A chance at valuable Cursed Redstone.
• A rarer chance at a free Devil Detonator.
• Occasional bad rolls — treat every punch as a gamble, not a guaranteed reward.

Weapons And Tools

• Devil Heartblade — right-click to instantly heal 8 health and put out fire on yourself, with a short cooldown. Great as a defensive weapon.
• Devil Inferno Sword — right-click to unleash a fiery blast around you, damaging and igniting all nearby enemies. Has a longer cooldown due to its power.
• Both swords hit extremely hard in melee and have very high durability and mining speed.
• Devil Fireball Staff — right-click to launch a flaming fireball projectile at enemies from range. Has a short cooldown and consumes durability per use.
• Devil Detonator — right-click to trigger a contained explosion a few blocks in front of you. It can hurt nearby mobs but will not destroy terrain or player builds — safe to use near your base.

Armor

Wear all four Devil armor pieces together to activate a powerful set bonus, continuously granting Fire Resistance, Resistance, Strength, Regeneration, and Speed while all pieces stay equipped.

Food

• Devil Apple grants a huge, long-lasting Absorption buff (extra hearts) on top of solid hunger restoration.
• Devil's Feast is a strong, always-edible meal that restores hunger generously.

Exploring

Keep an eye out in the Nether for the Devil Citadel, a raised blackstone fortress with towers and a shroomlight-lit courtyard. It's guarded by the powerful Devil Brute, a much stronger variant of the Piglin Brute with high health, damage, and knockback resistance — come prepared before engaging one.

Progression And Strategy

• Start by crafting and punching Devil Lucky Blocks to farm Devil Hearts and Cursed Redstone — these are the gateway ingredients for almost everything else in the mod.
• Prioritize the Devil Detonator and Devil Fireball Staff early since they only need Cursed Redstone plus common materials.
• Save Devil Hearts for the swords and cursed foods, since each recipe consumes one.
• Once you've stockpiled Netherite, invest it into a full Devil Armor set for the strong passive buffs — it's the mod's ultimate defensive goal.
• Treat the Devil Citadel as an end-game challenge: its Devil Brute guardians hit hard, so bring your best cursed gear before venturing in.
