Uchiha War Fan

Quickstart

1. Gather one Iron Sword and six Wool blocks (any colour).
2. Craft the Uchiha War Fan at a crafting table:

1. Hold the fan and left-click to perform a standard melee attack.
2. Right-click (Use) to unleash the Fan Wave — a powerful area burst that hits all nearby enemies within 5 blocks.
3. Watch for the cooldown message on your action bar; the Fan Wave can only be used once every 7 seconds.

Overview

The Uchiha War Fan is an epic-rarity melee weapon modelled after Madara Uchiha's legendary gunbai. It combines solid melee performance with a devastating area-denial ability, making it a standout weapon for both PvP and combat encounters.

What It Adds

The fan is found under the Equipment tab in the Creative inventory and can be crafted in Survival.

How To Use

Melee Attack (Left-Click)

A standard swing dealing 8 damage. Works like any sword — quick, reliable, and effective for single-target combat. The fan also cuts through cobwebs quickly.

Fan Wave (Right-Click / Use)

Activates a powerful gunbai shockwave centred on you:

• Damages all entities within 5 blocks for 4 damage (2 hearts) each.
• Knocks back each hit entity away from you.
• Applies Blindness for 2 seconds to every affected entity.
• Plays a signature gunbai swing sound at your location.
• Displays a "Fan Wave unleashed!" message on your action bar.
• Triggers a 7-second cooldown. While on cooldown, the action bar shows the remaining time.

Tip: The Fan Wave affects all nearby entities except yourself — use it in the middle of a crowd for maximum impact.

Abilities And Mechanics

Fan Wave Cooldown

After triggering the Fan Wave, a 7-second cooldown prevents immediate reuse. The remaining cooldown is displayed in seconds on your action bar. Plan engagements around this window — use the Fan Wave to open a fight, then follow up with melee attacks while you wait for it to reset.

Enchanting & Repairing

The Uchiha War Fan occupies the sword enchantment slot, so it accepts all standard sword enchantments (Sharpness, Looting, Knockback, etc.) at an enchantability of 10. Repair it at an Anvil with Netherite Ingots — each ingot restores 507 durability points.

Progression And Strategy

• Early game: The crafting cost is low (iron sword + wool), so you can obtain this weapon relatively early. Its 8 base damage rivals diamond swords, giving a significant early advantage.
• Crowd control: The Fan Wave's blindness and knockback combo is extremely effective against groups. Pull enemies together, then trigger the wave to disorient the whole crowd.
• PvP: Blindness makes follow-up attacks much easier since blinded opponents cannot accurately track your position. Open with the Fan Wave, then press the attack while they're disoriented.
• Cooldown management: The 7-second cooldown means you should save the Fan Wave for key moments — a clutch escape, the start of a large fight, or when you are surrounded and need to create distance.
• Enchant early: With a sword enchantment slot and reasonable enchantability, adding Sharpness or Fire Aspect significantly boosts the weapon's already strong melee output.
