Twilight Dragonflame

Quickstart

1. Craft Twilight Dragonflame at a crafting table, or obtain it in a command-enabled world with: /give @s com_twilight_dragonflame_3aapu46h:my_sword
2. Put it in your main hand to activate its crystal-dragon powers.
3. Use it while looking ahead to teleport up to 16 blocks.
4. Strike an entity to inflict Weakness I.
5. Face a nearby wolf and use the item toward it to transform the wolf into a magical mount. A successful transformation consumes one Twilight Dragonflame.

Overview

Twilight Dragonflame is a glowing, epic-rarity item that combines dragon powers, short-range teleportation, combat effects, and wolf transformation. It can be stacked up to 16 items and produces dragon-breath and smoke particles while held or dropped.

How To Use

Hold the Dragonflame

Keep Twilight Dragonflame in your main hand to continuously receive:

• Resistance I
• Strength I
• Night Vision
• Slow Falling

The effects remain active while the item is in your main hand and are removed when you switch to another item. Dragon-breath and smoke particles appear around you while the powers are active.

Teleport

Use the item while looking in the direction you want to travel. You teleport up to 16 blocks forward, provided the destination has enough open space for you.

The teleport has a cooldown of approximately 1 second. If the destination is inside a solid block or otherwise blocked, the teleport does not occur.

Weaken Enemies

Attack an entity with Twilight Dragonflame to apply Weakness I for 3 seconds. A dragon-breath particle effect appears on the target when the effect is applied.

Transform a Wolf

1. Stand near a wolf and face it.
2. Use Twilight Dragonflame toward the wolf, preferably on the block beside or just in front of it.
3. The wolf must be within a few blocks in front of you.
4. A successful transformation consumes one Twilight Dragonflame.

The transformed wolf receives:

• Health Boost III
• Resistance I
• Speed II
• Jump Boost II

These enhancements last for 30 seconds. The wolf is marked as a magical mount and produces dragon-breath and smoke particles during this time. Both tamed and untamed wolves can be targeted.

Drop the Item

A dropped Twilight Dragonflame gently bobs and emits dragon-breath particles, making it easier to spot.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked after obtaining an amethyst shard and must be crafted at a crafting table. It requires:

• 2 amethyst shards
• 2 purple dye
• 2 blaze powder
• 1 ender pearl
• 2 dragon breath
• 1 obsidian

You can also obtain it with /give @s com_twilight_dragonflame_3aapu46h:my_sword in a command-enabled world.

Twilight Dragonflame can be used as furnace fuel for 3 seconds.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Main-hand activation: The dragon powers only activate when the item is held in the main hand.
• Teleport safety: Teleportation checks the destination for open space before moving you.
• Wolf targeting: The wolf transformation looks for a wolf in the area directly ahead of you rather than selecting a wolf anywhere nearby.
• Stacking: The item has a maximum stack size of 16.
• Visual effects: The item glows and uses dragon-breath and smoke particles to show its active or magical states.

Progression And Strategy

Gather amethyst, blaze powder, ender pearls, dragon breath, obsidian, and purple dye before crafting the item. Once crafted, use it as a mobility and exploration tool:

• Keep it in your main hand when traveling through dark areas or dangerous terrain.
• Use Slow Falling and the forward teleport to cross gaps and escape hazards.
• Strike dangerous enemies to reduce their combat effectiveness with Weakness.
• Transform a wolf before an expedition to give it temporary durability, speed, and jumping ability.
• Carry multiple copies when working with several wolves, since each successful transformation consumes one item.
