Tnt Barrage Blade

Quickstart

1. At a crafting table, make the sword and ammunition .
2. Keep ammo in your inventory, equip the blade, aim, and use it to fire. Shots launch immediately; there is no draw or charge time.
3. Try it on a target in an open area: the projectile explodes on impact and can damage nearby blocks.

Overview

The Tnt Barrage Blade is both a melee weapon and a launcher. It fires explosive projectiles using its own ammunition, so you can attack at range or strike with the blade up close.

What It Adds

• Tnt Barrage Blade: A sword that deals 7 melee damage and launches explosive projectiles.
• Tnt Barrage Blade Ammo: Ammunition for the blade, crafted in stacks of 16.

How To Use

Equip the blade and press your device’s use control to fire at the point you’re aiming. The blade searches your inventory for ammo. In Creative mode, it can fire without carried ammunition.

Each shot has a cooldown of about 0.8 seconds. The blade can also be used for melee attacks.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft both items at a crafting table.

Tnt Barrage Blade — uses TNT, a diamond sword, and redstone:

Abilities And Mechanics

• The projectile deals 3–5 impact damage and knocks targets back, then detonates immediately.
• Its explosion has power 3 and does not cause fire. Block damage depends on the mob-griefing setting.
• The blade has 500 durability.

Progression And Strategy

Make extra ammo for longer fights, and keep it in your inventory while using the blade. Its explosive shots can affect the surrounding area, so take care when firing near builds or other terrain you want to preserve.
