Quickstart

1. Gather 2 Diamonds, 1 Gold Ingot, and 2 Sticks.
2. Craft the Titan Quarry Pickaxe Level 1 at a crafting table:

1. Hold the pickaxe, aim at a wall, floor, or ceiling, and break any block — a full 3×3 area shatters instantly around it.
2. When you're ready for more power, upgrade to Level 2 and then Level 3 using the recipes below.

Overview

Titan Quarry adds three powerful pickaxes that mine entire planes of blocks in a single swing. Just break one block and the tool automatically reads the surface you're facing — wall, floor, or ceiling — and clears a large rectangle centered on that block. All three pickaxes share a striking black-and-crown aesthetic, feature a fast mining speed of 15, and grow more dramatic with flame effects as their level increases.

What It Adds

All three pickaxes are found in the Tools and Utilities creative tab.

How To Use

Equip any Titan Quarry pickaxe in your main hand and break a block as you normally would. The tool reads the direction you are looking:

• Looking at a wall → clears a vertical plane (expands left/right and up/down).
• Looking at the floor or ceiling → clears a horizontal plane (expands in all horizontal directions).

Every block in the area is mined simultaneously. All drops are generated normally, just as if you broke each block individually. The tool skips air blocks and unbreakable blocks (like bedrock). Blocks significantly harder than the one you targeted (more than 5 hardness points above it) are also skipped, so you won't accidentally waste durability on stubborn outliers.

With a mining speed of 15, even large 9×9 sweeps cut through stone and ores extremely quickly.

Crafting And Obtaining

Level 1 is crafted directly:

Each upgrade consumes the previous pickaxe, so plan your progression accordingly.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Auto-plane alignment — The mining rectangle aligns to whichever axis you are most directly facing. No configuration needed.
• Hardness filtering — Blocks more than 5 hardness above the targeted block are skipped, protecting your durability from unexpectedly tough blocks in the area.
• Normal drop behavior — All blocks in the swept area drop loot exactly as they would from individual breaks, respecting Fortune and Silk Touch enchantments on the pickaxe.
• Enchant compatibility — Titan Quarry pickaxes can receive standard pickaxe enchantments. The Tunnel enchantment (from an enchanting table) can also be applied to any vanilla pickaxe or shovel to grant the same area-mining effect.
• Level 2 and 3 enchant sheen — Level 2 and Level 3 pickaxes display an enchantment foil effect on the item, making them visually distinct in your inventory.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with Level 1 for early strip-mining corridors. The 3×3 sweep perfectly clears a standard mine tunnel in one pass.
• Upgrade to Level 2 after reaching the Nether — Blaze Powder and Redstone Blocks are required for the upgrade. The 5×5 sweep is ideal for large ore-clearing operations.
• Save Level 3 for mega-quarries and deep-slate bulk mining. The 9×9 sweep moves enormous amounts of material in seconds, but requires Emerald Blocks and a Blaze Rod, so prepare your resources first.
• Keep spare pickaxes in reserve for long sessions — even 7,000 durability can drain fast when each swing mines up to 81 blocks at once.
