Description:
The Chainshot is also available directly from the Tools creative tab if you want to try it without crafting first.
Timber Chainshot adds a single specialty tool — the Chainshot — that fells an entire standing tree in one cinematic action. Instead of chopping every log individually, you right-click the trunk and the whole tree tips over sideways, landing as a horizontal log pile. The blocks are preserved in the world rather than dropped as items, making the result useful both for fast harvesting and for decorative landscaping with fallen trunks.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Chainshot | A durable handheld tool that topples trees sideways in a single use. Found in the Tools creative tab. |
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Maximum logs in one tree | 96 |
| Maximum total tree blocks (logs + leaves) | 360 |
| Cooldown after each use | ~1.75 seconds (35 ticks) |
| Tool durability | 512 uses |
Trees that exceed either block limit are rejected outright — the Chainshot will not partially fell them.
The Chainshot is crafted at a standard crafting table using the following shaped recipe:
[ ] [I] [I]
[S] [C] [D]
[C] [S] [ ]
I = Iron Ingot
S = Stick
C = Chain
D = Diamond
It yields 1 Chainshot and has uncommon rarity (purple name).
