Quickstart

1. Open the Creative inventory and search for Timber. Take one each of the Timber Helmet, Timber Chestplate, Timber Leggings, and Timber Boots.
2. Equip all four pieces. Shortly afterward, the Timber Trial begins automatically.
3. Break 16 log or wood blocks while wearing the complete set. Your progress appears in the action bar and the sidebar.
4. Complete the trial to receive Haste II for 30 seconds and 8 Oak Planks.
5. For a direct test with commands, use:
   • /give @s com_timber_armor_ugvdxpc7:wooden_helmet
   • /give @s com_timber_armor_ugvdxpc7:wooden_chestplate
   • /give @s com_timber_armor_ugvdxpc7:wooden_leggings
   • /give @s com_timber_armor_ugvdxpc7:wooden_boots

Overview

wooden Armor adds a complete Timber Armor set, a durable Timber Shield, and a placeable Spruce Block. Wearing the complete armor set unlocks the Timber Trial, which rewards players for cutting through logs.

How To Use

Timber Armor

Equip the four pieces in their normal armor slots:

• Timber Helmet — head slot
• Timber Chestplate — chest slot
• Timber Leggings — legs slot
• Timber Boots — feet slot

The Timber Trial requires all four pieces to be equipped at the same time.

Timber Shield

Place the Timber Shield in your off-hand and hold the normal use button to raise it. While raised, it absorbs incoming damage. The shield has 336 durability and can be repaired with plank items.

Spruce Block

Hold a Spruce Block and place it like a normal block. Its placed shape follows the cardinal direction you are facing, so turn before placing if its orientation matters.

The placed block can be mined in 1.5 seconds and has no explosion resistance.

Crafting And Obtaining

The armor pieces are made in a stonecutter using one plank item each.

Timber Shield

Craft the Timber Shield at a crafting table using planks and one Spruce Block.

Spruce Block

Convert spruce planks into a Spruce Block in a stonecutter.

Timber Chestplate

Abilities And Mechanics

Timber Armor Stats

Each armor piece can be enchanted in its corresponding armor slot.

Timber armor pieces can be repaired with Oak Planks, Spruce Planks, or Birch Planks.

Timber Shield Stats

The Timber Shield can be enchanted and repaired with plank items.

Timber Trial

The trial begins automatically when you first equip the complete Timber Armor set.

• Break 16 blocks whose type is a log or wood block.
• Only blocks broken while the full set is equipped count.
• Removing any armor piece pauses the trial and preserves your current progress.
• Re-equipping the complete set resumes a paused trial.
• The action bar shows progress such as Timber Trial 8/16.
• The sidebar also displays the Timber Trial score.
• Completing the trial grants Haste II for 30 seconds and adds 8 Oak Planks to your inventory.

Progression And Strategy

• Gather planks early so you can create all four armor pieces at once and start the trial immediately.
• Cut trees while wearing the full set to progress toward the reward.
• Keep spare planks available for repairing armor and the shield.
• Use the Timber Shield in your off-hand when cutting trees near hostile mobs.
• If you need to switch armor, do so before the trial is complete; the progress will pause rather than reset.
• After completing the trial, remove the full set and equip it again to begin another 16-block challenge.
