The Infinite Stack Satchel

Quickstart

1. Craft the satchel with eight shulker boxes and one ender chest:

1. Select the satchel in your hotbar and use it—right-click by default—to open it.
2. Place items into the storage slots. The satchel holds 1,000 slots, with 54 slots displayed at a time.
3. Use the < and > buttons to move between its 19 pages.
4. Use normal inventory controls to move items between your inventory and the satchel. Shift-clicking can quickly transfer items.

The satchel itself is not stackable, and another satchel cannot be placed inside it.

Overview

The Infinite Stack Satchel is a portable storage item for carrying large quantities of blocks, tools, resources, and other items. Its contents are stored in the satchel, so the same satchel keeps its inventory wherever you take it.

Each stored stack can contain up to 99 items, greatly reducing the number of slots needed for bulk storage.

How To Use

Opening the Satchel

Hold the satchel in your main hand or off-hand and use it. A storage screen opens with the satchel’s contents and your regular player inventory below.

Navigating Storage

The satchel displays 54 storage slots at once. Click the < or > buttons to change pages. The page indicator shows the current page and the total number of pages.

The final page contains the remaining storage slots after the first 18 full pages.

Storing and Removing Items

Place items into the upper storage area and take them out using the usual inventory controls. Items moved into the satchel are marked for its extended stacking behavior, allowing their stacks to hold up to 99 items.

Stacks removed from the satchel retain this 99-item capacity.

Crafting And Obtaining

The satchel is crafted from shulker boxes surrounding an ender chest:

Its recipe is provided to players when they join the world and can also be viewed in the recipe book.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The satchel stores its contents directly, so its inventory travels with the item.
• Stored stacks can hold up to 99 items.
• The 1,000 slots are divided across 19 pages for display.
• The satchel cannot be placed inside itself or inside another satchel.
• The satchel can be opened only while the player is alive and the satchel remains available in the player’s inventory.

Craft the satchel once you have access to shulker boxes and an ender chest. It is especially useful for:

• Mining trips with large amounts of cobblestone, ores, and building materials
• Gathering expeditions
• Transporting redstone and construction supplies
• Consolidating valuable resources before returning to base
• Carrying multiple types of items without filling your regular inventory

Use separate satchels for different purposes if you want dedicated storage for mining, building, exploration, or valuables.
