Terrain Toss Orbs
Quickstart
Craft a Terrain Toss Orb:
Find a cavity, aim into it, and use (right-click) the orb to throw it. When it hits, it fills nearby connected open space with blocks matching the surrounding terrain. Try it first on a small cave or hole so you can see which spaces connect to the impact point.
Overview
The mod adds four throwable orbs for filling cavities, plus a wand that launches orbs and a tool for cutting out square layers of blocks. Orbs stack to 16; throwing one consumes it in Survival.

How To Use
Tossing orbs
Use an orb to throw it in the direction you are looking. The fill happens when the projectile hits. The orb looks for connected empty space near the impact; isolated pockets are left alone. The fill area is limited, so very large cavities may only be partly filled.
- Terrain Toss Orb: Chooses solid blocks from nearby terrain at each space’s height, helping preserve different layers. If it cannot find suitable nearby terrain, it uses stone.
- Light Terrain Toss Orb: Places invisible light sources at maximum light level. They illuminate without appearing as torches or glowstone.
- Water Terrain Toss Orb and Lava Terrain Toss Orb: Fill the connected space with the corresponding fluid.
Using the Terrain Wand
Hold the wand and use it to launch an orb. If you hold a Terrain Toss Orb or one of its variants in your offhand, the wand throws that orb and consumes one in Survival. With no orb in your offhand, it launches a regular Terrain Toss Orb without consuming an orb item.
Using the Hole Maker
Attack a block with the Hole Maker to remove a square of blocks at that same height. It starts with a 2×2 area; sneak and attack a block to cycle through 2×2, 8×8, and 16×16.
Drops go directly into your inventory. Blocks with block entities, such as containers, are skipped. The tool also skips unbreakable blocks and stops if it cannot fit more drops in your inventory.

This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
