End Platinum Arsenal

Quickstart

1. Take a Netherite Pickaxe to the End and look for Platinum Ore. Mine it with that pickaxe; a Platinum Pickaxe can mine it too once you have one.
2. Put the resulting fragments in a blast furnace to make Platinum Pieces . Craft four pieces into an ingot .
3. Make a Platinum Pickaxe and try its faster mining on pickaxe-mineable blocks. Use ingots to craft more tools, weapons, or armor.
4. Equip armor in the matching armor slots. Wield the sword or spear to fight; the spear can jab with an attack or charge a lunge by holding and releasing secondary use.

In Creative Mode, the End Platinum Arsenal tab contains the ore, materials, equipment, and armor.

Overview

End Platinum Arsenal adds a platinum resource found in the End and a set of Netherite-tier tools, weapons, and armor made from it. Its basic crafting path is Platinum Ore → Unsintered Platinum Fragment → Platinum Piece → Platinum Ingot.

What It Adds

• Platinum Ore and Platinum Block
• Unsintered Platinum Fragments, Platinum Pieces, and Platinum Ingots
• Platinum Sword and Platinum Spear
• Platinum Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, and Hoe
• Platinum Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots

A separate Command-Only Platinum Legacy Sword has no survival recipe. To obtain it with commands, use /give @s end-platinum-arsenal-re6gv35e:end_platinum_arsenal_re6gv35e.

How To Use

Platinum Ore generates underground and at the surface throughout the End’s natural biomes. Mine it with a Netherite Pickaxe or Platinum Pickaxe to get fragments; other tools won’t drop the ore item. The Platinum Block also requires one of those pickaxes to drop.

Blast fragments in a blast furnace to make pieces, then craft pieces into ingots. Use ingots for equipment, or craft nine into a Platinum Block. Platinum Blocks can form part of a beacon base, and Platinum Ingots can be used as beacon payment.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Pickaxe and Axe: Mine their respective block types at double mining speed.
• Other tools: The Shovel digs, the Hoe tills farmland, and the Sword is for combat.
• Spear: Use its standard jab and charged-lunge attacks.
• Tool and weapon durability: Platinum equipment uses Netherite material durability at twice the usual durability.
• Armor: Each piece grants 6 armor toughness and 0.2 knockback resistance.

Progression And Strategy

Start with a Netherite Pickaxe for your first End mining trip, then process the fragments into ingots and craft a Platinum Pickaxe. Its faster mining makes it useful for gathering more ore and other pickaxe-mineable blocks. After that, spend ingots on the weapons or armor that suit your needs; Platinum Blocks also provide a way to store ingots while remaining useful in beacon construction.
