Quickstart

Craft the hammer at a crafting table using the recipe below, or get one in Creative with /give @s com_stormforged_thunder_hammer_aq7nhayj:my_sword.

Equip it and attack a mob. Each successful hit delivers a heavy blow and calls down lightning on the target and nearby mobs.

Overview

The Stormforged Thunder Hammer is a melee weapon built for powerful hits and lightning bursts. It has 99 attack damage, and hitting a target also applies an additional 100 damage.

What It Adds

• Stormforged Thunder Hammer: A durable melee weapon with 2048 durability.
• Chain lightning: A successful hit calls lightning down on the struck target and nearby eligible mobs.

How To Use

Hold the hammer and attack as you would with a melee weapon. There is no separate activation: the lightning triggers when an attack hits.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft one hammer at a crafting table with three netherite ingots and two lightning rods, following the recipe in Quickstart. In Creative, use the /give command shown above.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Each successful hit applies the hammer’s extra 100 damage to the struck target, then calls lightning down at its location.
• The lightning can also strike up to four nearby non-player living mobs within 12 blocks of the struck target, prioritizing the closest. The attacker is excluded from nearby targets.
• A burst can affect up to five targets total, counting the original target.

Progression And Strategy

The recipe requires netherite ingots and lightning rods, so gather both before crafting. For the biggest bursts, fight groups of mobs close together so more nearby targets are within range.
