Quickstart

Craft the cleaver at a crafting table using the recipe below. Hold it and mine a stone block to try its 3×3 sweep. Crouch while mining to expand the sweep to a 5×5×5 area. To fell a tree, break a trunk log with no other log directly beneath it.

Overview

The Stone And Timber Cleaver is a durable mining tool for clearing stone and felling trees. It pulls drops from the blocks it breaks toward you for a short time; you still need to collect them.

What It Adds

• Stone sweep: Mines nearby stone-family blocks in an area around the block you target.
• Tree felling: Breaks a connected group of logs and wood when you mine a trunk log.
• Drop attraction: Pulls drops from the affected blocks toward the player.

The stone sweep recognizes many stone-family blocks, including common stone, deepslate, tuff, blackstone, sandstone, prismarine, and stone stairs, slabs, and walls.

How To Use

• Regular mining: Mine a recognized stone-family block. The cleaver sweeps a 3×3 plane perpendicular to the direction you’re facing.
• Expanded mining: Crouch while mining a stone-family block to sweep a 5×5×5 cube centered on it.
• Felling a tree: Mine a trunk log with no log immediately below it. Connected logs and wood are felled together. Mining a log with another log directly beneath it does not trigger felling.
• Collecting drops: Stay nearby as drops are pulled toward you, then pick them up as usual.

Crafting And Obtaining

The crafting-table recipe uses a diamond pickaxe, a diamond axe, a diamond, two iron ingots, and a stick. The recipe unlocks when you have a diamond.

Abilities And Mechanics

The cleaver works on recognized stone-family blocks and connected log- or wood-type blocks. Its sweep checks for eligible blocks in the area, so nearby blocks can be mined even if they are not the exact same kind as the one you targeted.

It has 3,122 durability and is configured for pickaxe enchantments.
