Starfall Siege Cannon

Quickstart

1. Craft the Starfall Siege Cannon at a crafting table:

1. Hold the cannon in your hand.
2. Aim at an entity or block within 48 blocks and use the item.
3. Watch the orbital barrage fall onto your target: TNT strikes the center while arrows rain down in a wider pattern.

The cannon can also be taken from the Creative inventory under equipment. It does not require separate ammunition.

Overview

The Starfall Siege Cannon is a powerful weapon that combines sword combat with a targeted orbital strike. Using it calls down a compact TNT barrage and a surrounding ring of arrows from above.

It is best suited for open areas, siege scenarios, clearing groups of enemies, and dramatic battlefield attacks.

How To Use

Hold the cannon and aim in the direction of your target before pressing the use button.

Target selection works in this order:

1. An entity in your line of sight within 48 blocks is targeted first.
2. If no entity is targeted, the block you are looking at within 48 blocks is selected.
3. If neither an entity nor a block is found, the strike is placed 32 blocks ahead in the direction you are facing.

The strike is called down from above the selected location. Aim at the ground near an enemy when you want to target an area rather than a specific entity.

Abilities And Mechanics

Each successful use creates:

• Five TNT strikes in a compact formation around the target
• Nine arrows in a wider formation around the target

The TNT falls from approximately 20 blocks above the target. The arrows fall from approximately 24 blocks above the target, forming a central shot and an outer ring reaching roughly 4 blocks from the center.

The cannon has a 2-second cooldown between orbital strikes. Attempts to use it again during the cooldown do not trigger another barrage.

The TNT explosions can damage nearby players, mobs, terrain, and structures. Keep a safe distance and avoid aiming at valuable builds unless destruction is intended.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the cannon in a crafting table using the recipe above. Its recipe requires rare materials, including a Nether Star, as well as iron, a hopper, TNT, and an Eye of Ender.

It can also be obtained directly from the Creative inventory in the equipment category.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the cannon from a protected position so the TNT barrage does not catch you in the blast.
• Aim at the ground beneath or beside moving enemies to make the strike easier to land.
• Use open terrain when possible; trees, buildings, and uneven ground can block or redirect falling projectiles.
• Allow the full 2-second cooldown to pass before attempting another strike.
• Save the cannon for clustered enemies or fortified positions, and use it as a normal sword when an orbital strike would be unsafe.
• Because the cannon has durability, carry a backup weapon for extended battles.
