Smokeshift Dragonblade

Quickstart

Craft the Dragonblade using the recipe below, then equip it in either hand. Right-click to blink up to 16 blocks in the direction you’re looking. Each successful blink costs 30 mana; the sword starts with 250.

Overview

The Smokeshift Dragonblade is a non-stackable sword with a powerful melee strike and a mana-powered movement ability. A successful blink leaves smoke at your starting point and portal particles at your destination.

What It Adds

• Smokeshift Dragonblade: Deals 12 attack damage, with an attack speed of 2 attacks per second.
• Blink: Right-click to travel toward where you’re looking, up to 16 blocks.

How To Use

• Attack with the sword as you would with other weapons.
• Right-click while holding it in your main hand or off-hand to blink.
• The blink needs at least 30 mana and a clear space for you to arrive. Blocks in your path limit how far you can go; a blocked or cramped destination can prevent the blink.
• A successful blink spends 30 mana. An unsuccessful attempt does not spend mana.

Craft the Dragonblade with the shaped recipe in Quickstart. It is also available in the Creative inventory’s Combat tab.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Dragonblade holds up to 250 mana and restores 1 mana every 4 ticks while it is in your inventory. Check its tooltip for the current amount; when you hold it in either hand, a mana bar appears near the bottom of the screen.

Progression And Strategy

Mana regenerates automatically, so keep the sword in your inventory between uses. Before blinking, look along a route with enough open space for your character to arrive safely.
