Skullfire Lantern Wraith

Quickstart

• In Creative mode, find the Skullfire Lantern Wraith Spawn Egg in your inventory and use it on the ground to summon the wraith.
• Give it room, then watch its attacks: it launches small fireballs from a distance and can burn nearby targets.
• In Survival, look for it on the Overworld surface at night or in other low-light conditions.

Overview

The Skullfire Lantern Wraith is a slow-moving, hostile mob marked by its haunted skull lantern. It stalks visible targets and uses fire both up close and at range. It is immune to fire, but can be damaged by other attacks.

How To Use

The wraith can spawn naturally on the Overworld surface when light levels are low. It may appear alone or in groups of two.

To summon one with a command, use:

/summon com_skullfire_lantern_wraith_z67zqego:mynpc

The spawn egg or command is useful for testing its attacks in a controlled area.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is no crafting recipe for the wraith or its spawn egg. Find the mob in low light, or use its spawn egg in Creative mode.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Fireballs: It shoots small fireballs at targets from roughly 3 to 18 blocks away.
• Close-range fire: Targets within about one block can take fire damage. Keep your distance to avoid this attack.
• Targeting: It seeks visible players and other living targets within range, but ignores other wraiths and inanimate entities.
• Fire immunity: Fire does not harm the wraith.
• Movement: It moves slowly and does not path over water.

Progression And Strategy

Use ranged attacks or cover to fight it, and avoid letting it close the gap. Its fireballs can still threaten you from a distance, so watch its aim even when you are outside its close-range attack. The wraith has no configured drops.
